Ordered the hawkshead beer which wasn’t great so asked to change. With a little frustration from one of the barmaids she changed it for me and all was right with the world. The food and pub/ bar is great. Bit crammed in but always means you got somewhere to sit. Definitely visit even if you need to change your sauce."

Nice views and staff. Didn't realize we sat in a room without service. But we ordered and received food. Really enjoyed the roasts.

The fish was amazing, like one of the best I have ever had, why not 5 stars, would not open side gate to avoid steep steps with pushchair, no offer of help, no table service, staff had attitudes.

Great chilled out bar, live singer most nights. Good selection of larger, wines, etc Friendly staff.. WCs are fresh and clean. I have not had food there but look good. Gorgeous view of the lake..

What an up and coming place. Lovely beers and the kfc burger is fantastic. Sit yourself down under the lovely warm heaters and watch the boats come and go. Will be returning here when I get the chance.

that really loved it here. the views of the lake were a great choice of drinks and cocktails. Eating looked really good, we had only truffles, but they were great. when they visit windermere, then necessarily dive here.

Appalling! Avoid at all costs if you have dietary requirements!! My daughter was given meat on her vegetarian meal, the attitude of all staff from waitress, to bar, to manager was so blasé and uncaring, what do you want me to do about it? With a shrug of the shoulders was the attitude. A brief apology and refund was only given when I asked. My daughter was in such a state and no concern was given to her welfare. Y
