"We ate here as staying the night at hotel. Friends joined us and as it was early (7pm) it was all but empty. We had lots to talk about and so had to keep asking the young waitress to give us more time, which didn't seem to be a problem. The menu is quite small, which for me is always a good thing as I am not good at making decisions. We did choose our drinks quite quickly, but the waitress brought the wrong wine and took some persuading that she had made a mistake! She did bring the correct one in the end, which was a rose pino spumante, and then proceeded to pour it into the red wine glasses on the table. We did not argue as we had already had to correct her wine choice, so just continued with what we had which just didn't feel right. Most of the food was well cooked and very tasty, my stuffed chicken breasts were lovely good job there were 2 as the potato stack was cooked around the edges but hard in the centre. My friend ordered the curry but only when they assured him it would be a very mild one, however when it came it was far too hot but they did take it away and cool it down with lots of yoghurt! Towards the end of the mains we were asked if everything was alright, and I did mention my potatoes just as feedback really and the waiter offered to replace it and said he would inform chef. I would say that on the whole service was good and that the initial problems with the wine were due to lack of experience. The place certainly does lack atmosphere, but this may have been due to the lack of customers on this particular Saturday night. I would not visit here especially to eat again unless I has cause to stay the night at the hotel."

Went down for breakfast as. Staying in the Hilton buffet system not bad young lad cooked me a excellent omelette for breakfast nice Ver carta

They serve very good breakfast here. Makes one feel good in the morning itself. Loved the eggs and baked beans and truly enjoyed the hot Chocolate.....

Went for mothers day lunch. Probably the worst meal I have ever had made with the cheapest, nastiest ingredients. I live round the corner but will never, ever return.

You do have to book, as we were staying at the hotel, reception booked for us. They offer mid week deals where we had a 2 course meal and a drink for under £20. High standard of food Ver carta

Pleasant restaurant with lakeside view. Food quality very good with super combination of flavours. Good choice and competitive prices. Service polite and attentive. Wine choice excellent. Very enjoyable.

Excellent food! I had oriental chilli prawns to start, first night, which were fabulous, I wished I'd had them again on night 2 but we had to pre-order. Had the Chef's curry first night, which was very ordinary and seemed to be thigh meat. I didn't eat most of it but no reflection on the food, anything would have been disappointing after the prawns. Night two I had the smoked salmon and mousse which was lovely too, followed by chicken breast with bacon and sundries tomatoes. Huge portion, again, i couldn't finish but just too much for me. I didn't eat dessert. Good wine list and good service.
