Ristorante molto accogliente, fin da subito si percepisce il calore del sud. Rendono giustizia alla nostra cucina italiana.. eccezionale.!

This rather small restaurant (reservation recommended) offers very good, authentic Italian cuisine. Do not miss the daily menu where fresh fish are also offered. All dishes are freshly prepared and are cheap. The service is friendly and competent.

Il ristorante italiano all'estero solitamente tende ad assecondare i gusti locali, a scapito della tradizione. Qua, invece, grande sorpresa per una cucina autenticamente italiana, qualitativa negli ingredienti e nella preparazione, calorosa nella accoglienza ed affabilità dello staff. ...the restaurant should be among the three best restaurants in Burghausen. While we visited Burghausen's longest castle in the world (1KM long), we found this family restaurant L' Antico Borgo (old castle) by chance. The first impression clean and the environment very appealing. The food quality was just fresh and very tasty. The pizza from the wood burning stove is perfect as I compare from my hometown in Naples. I have to admit that the service was not what I looked at. But overall, I would eat there again.

Short criticism: The restaurant is located at the end of the 17th century. At the foot of the oldest castle in the world. If you feed in the Italian guest garden next to the Tollnerschloss on the Fame road, you get almost a merciless flair carriage right into the face. Operation: A nice young Italian who, however, likes to rattle with acquaintances and waits longer. Cleanliness: Very clean. Food: Fantastico. Kurzkritik: Das Restaurant liegt am Ende der Grüben, einer Gasse aus dem 17.Jahrhundert, am Fuße der weltlängsten Burg. Wenn man im Gastgarten des Italieners neben dem Mautnerschloss auf dem Street of Fame speist, bekommt man quasi eine erbarmungslose Flair-Watschn direkt ins Gesicht. Bedienung: Eine nette, junge Italienerin, die allerdings gern mit Bekannten ratscht und länger auf sich warten lässt. Sauberkeit: Sehr sauber. Essen: Fantastico. Kalbsmedallions in Weißweinsauße mit gebratenen Auberginen-und Zucchinistreifen sowie gebratenen Champignons. Dazu hausgemachtes Weissbrot. Geschmacklich also nicht steigerungsfähig.
