Friendly, terrific team. Lovely food, joyous and happy atmosphere but never too over bearing. Places like this should be treasured locally for what they are. Bring the community together with lovely people, great food and lovely people. I’d thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely gutted to find that our favourite restaurant has been recently taken over. I can only presume that for some crazy reason they have replaced the old kitchen staff because the food was not up to the usual standards. First time we’ve ever left this restaurant unhappy with the meal. RIP Las Fuentes

I came here for a business meeting and had some late lunch on the way. We ordered: 1 x Arroz Española £8.95 1 x Huevos Flamenca £8.95 1 x Croquetas £7.95 1 x Lomo Parilla £9.95 1 x Bread and dip £3.50 1 x Large still water £3.90 1 x Coke £3.50 Food was delicious and offered good value for money. Service was timely and friendly. Would come back here.

If you want bad service and bad food then this is the place for you. The front of house team were bemoaning (in Spanish) having to be at work when we walked in and it all went downhill from there. If you like muscles that are so over cook that they are crunchy, your in for a treat. If you expect to be offered another drink when you’ve finished your first drink, you may well go thirsty. But they are very good at adding service charges to the bill.

Used to be a nice local tapas. New owners I believe with a new menu that has very few traditional tapas but if you want a steak it’s the menu for you! Rice dry, chicken straw like dry, lamb cutlets looked charred but raw inside. Prawns dry …..just unpleasant. The new bread selection is nicer tho lol. The only time we got service was when we asked the bill, had a £2.40 soda charge on it must have been the tap water. Didn’t wait to find out and won’t be going back so I will never know!

Used to love this place a few years back but seriously gone down hill, went for a birthday and the waiter was rude when asking a couple of questions about the menu/side of dishes he answered them as if we were stupid and don’t think we got one smile the whole time. Mentioned this to another waiter when paying the bill and he did not even question it or apologise, bizarre customer service. The food was nice but the portions felt a lot smaller and just not what they used to be. Won’t be booking again unfortunately

Authentic tasting food. Good service. They were accommodating with our toddler and entertained him even though he was shy. If I closed my eyes to eat I would have felt like I was in Spain. I’ve been living in Purley for 3 years and this is the first time I visited. Every dish we ordered tasted really good. Highly recommend. Look forward to going back with a bigger group so we can try more dishes For fussy kids they have chicken nuggets and chip. Not on the menu so ask. Also chicken and chorizo paella wasn’t on the menu but when we asked for chicken paella without selfish, the waiter mentioned it. Tasted soo good. Hard to pic a fav dish but will give it to cod croquettes on this occasion

We had a reservation for 7pm….we arrived and sat at the bar for a drink….at 7.30 we went to our table! We were asked if we’d like to order a drink and we ordered a bottle of wine to have with our dinner. We called a waitress over to order food and we were told there was a problem with the electrics….we waited another half hour hoping it would come back in. It didn’t!!! So we paid for our wine and left! We totally understand that problems happen but they were so clearly aware of the problems when we arrived and we were not informed! We were only informed when we tried to order food!! Many customers came in after us and they were seated and they too ordered drinks!! SHOCKING….id never go there...

I have been coming to this place for many years as this is my local restaurant and it used to be a really nice, vibrant, busy place! Unfortunately not anymore, we have been told that the management recently changed and this place is not the same unfortunately. We booked a table with some friends for the New Year eve and we have been told that there will be DJ and dancing in the venue as it was in the previous years, which was brilliant previously, we have paid deposit as well.
