"Popped in for a meal while in Sheffield for the snooker with friends, and so glad we did. The pub is amazing, very family friendly and the staff could not be nicer if the tried.... Nothing was too much trouble for them. The seafood platter I had was stunning, and cooked by Jamie Oliver (no, not that one, although I recon it would be hard to tell the difference . We will be coming back next year for the snooker and this is definitely on our list of places to go back to that's fir sure. If you are looking for a great pub with good beers, amazing food and a brilliant atmosphere, try here... You won't be disappointed"

"I have to admit, I may be a bit biased when it comes to this wonderful Cafe/Restaurant as it is conveniently located next to my Colour Analysis styling 'suite'. However, it is a fantastic spot to enjoy a coffee, cake, or a delicious bowl of pasta and wine after a shopping spree. Situated on the Upper Floor, this hidden gem is where I host my ticketed Style Events called 'Sipping Style' #SippingStyle, offering guests a chance to gather Style and Colour inspiration. The staff here are friendly, professional, and welcoming, maintaining excellent standards and creating a true asset to Meadowhall. My go-to meal is the breakfast 'Uevo Massarella' featuring poached eggs on smoked salmon – it's absolutely delicious! Don't miss out on their decaffeinated coffee, it's simply amazing. "We made a reservation in advance for a party of 11 to celebrate a family birthday at this restaurant. We left a deposit and pre-ordered from the tapas menu. When we arrived just before 7.30pm as scheduled, 2 members of our group were running a few minutes late as they were unfamiliar with the area and got lost. We were immediately asked for our drink orders before we even had a chance to sit down, which didn't leave us much time to look at the wine list. Initially, we were told there was no chardonnay available, but eventually a bottle was found. There was no draft lager or beer, only a limited selection of large bottles such as Peroni, which quickly ran out and we had to settle for two small bottles instead. The food was served very quickly after we ordered, which surprised us as we were expecting a more leisurely tapas experience. The quality of the food was mediocre at best. The service felt rushed, with the waitress constantly hovering and clearing our plates before we had finished eating. For dessert, we were informed that we could not bring our own birthday cake as they offered a limited dessert menu. Unfortunately, there were only two dessert options available, and one of our group members received the wrong flavor of creme brûlée. When one of us requested coffee, we were told the machine was broken and no alternative was offered. By 8.40pm, the waitress was already wearing her coat and seemed eager to finish her shift. Since our taxi was scheduled to pick us up at 10pm, we hurriedly finished our drinks and ended up going to the pub next door to wait for our ride. Overall, we were very disappointed with the rushed service and mediocre food quality, and we do not plan to return to this restaurant."

"A rare early home kick off for the boy meant breakfast was required. TripAdvisor lead us here and again we weren't disappointed. This place really is tiny with just three tables with two chairs at each. One table was occupied when we arrived with a couple of people waiting for take outs. We both ordered a big breakfast egg, beans, mushrooms, tomato, and 2 each of sausage, bacon and toast). The drinks arrived promptly and our food soon after. It was very good, we thoroughly enjoyed it. If I'm being picky I would've preferred my egg a bit more runny, bit that's a minor point. The cakes in the counter looked fab too. Might have to call in again for a slice and a cuppa."
