"as a group of friends. After reading the reviews on tripadvisor, I expected a Yuppie event venue. not at all. the publikum is generally younger than in weinstuben in the old town and our group was older than the average. Nevertheless, I felt as the oldest with 72 never miss the place. the selection of local, regional weeping is satisfactory and inexpensive. the menu is small and inexpensive somewhat high, but I could accept this, as our meal times were of very good quality, well prepared and presented. the portions are rather small but sufficient to satisfy the average appetit. the service is very friendly and polite, but sometimes a little slow. a very popular place, so a reservation is recommended. more a meeting point for groups than for couples."

ikea, with a sprinkle from the rheingau what does the woman want more? a chic dessert (bratapfel with ice and dykebiscuit) and everything wonderfully prepared. I'll be back!

we were there three times, we were very happy each time. very nice staff and profi. a lot of wine selection and very tasty. the food also tastes very good, because the price could be a little more on the teller. a table only for four people is difficult. Ver carta

I came with my family and all were of the same opinion, it tasted everything super delicious we were on the street in mainz and there we see her restaurant and there we went in and we did not regret it! we actually live 3 hours away, but it was worth it!

I was randomly at a very nice evening with a friend there, so we had the opportunity to sit outside. cool atmosphere, good service and eating was good. my only complaint was that the amount of food on our tellers was very low. too small for a main court.

we were only for one night in frankfurt and asked for a great wine-friendly, which can serve regional wines. laurenz is it! a very cool bar/restaurant with great local choice, which they can also buy at the same price that the weingut sells. very reasonable prices and eating was excellent. great staff. this beautiful weinbar has over 100 locally produced weine in the glass and in the bottle. very reasonable and they can take the entire wein at the retail price. the menu does not offer a great choice, but eating is quite good. the service was excellent. if they are in mainz and like wein, they must try this place. there is a lot of going on, so they either arrive early or reserve them in time.

This is an unpretentious place with seating outside or inside if the weather warrants. It is a limited menu, but everything is excellent. The Wild greens salad may be the best we've ever eaten. The pea soup was wonderfully fresh. Dishes were a reasonable size, not too huge. The wine selection, which is the raison d'etre of the place is fabulous. We had extremely helpful staff advise us. What a delightful fine in a quiet neighborhood but also convenient to the hauptbahnhof (train station).

"we thought it was time that four years ago opened patagonia in the mainzer neustadt to test. the bus and tram connection is excellent, the parking situation is very difficult. there is an outside area at the restaurant, and the dining room is large and clear. because the guests were distributed outside and inside, the reservation about opentable would not have been necessary. so we were allowed to choose a table and were welcomed by the two ladies in the service friendly. we found a rectangle with a view of a large flatscreen, on which a diashow of pictures ran from patagonia, which first triggered television. steaks are offered in all variations, and the selection is quite difficult. we first took three empanadas with different fillings that relatiw quickly came out of the kitchen and taste very good.My wife decided in the main course for a rumpsteak of the even medium rare with grill potatoes and salad. I had previously researched the card in the internet and asked myself what a flap steak was. wikipedia helped and so I knew it was a cut that is very common in patagonia and comes very close to the us sirloin strip. I wanted to try this and ordered it **** in the bloom. I took a foil potato. both supplements were handed with the obligatory sourcream with coriander. the two supplemental salads were fresh, colourful and crisp, with the carrots also liked as a supplement. Even with critical consideration, the performance was in all respects of expectations: the services were extremely friendly and stood also in the meat selection with rat and did the side. the we chose to be perfectly met. confusingly I found the hints in the menu on the recommended per steak. these were all together and especially between medium and well done. that was not comprehensible for me because of the top quality of meat, all in all a very successful evening with a quite reasonable price-performance ratio. we like to come back to patagonia."
