"we went back to the barestovino after a few years. we had experienced a tasteful fireworks at the time, so we have come with a certainly high expectations. in front of this background this restaurant visit was rather disappointing. The restaurant was only visited weakly for a Saturday on a lukewarm summer evening. the interior was not all occupied, in the interior there were no guests at all. to the extent that it was apparent that two service personnel took care of the guests. The (first-class!) crémant as apéritif was then unfortunately also the high point of the evening, after which only a small rash went up (second main food) at the average level. we chose the four-course menu with weinbegleitung. as an appetizer we got a flat trout fillet with mozarella that was "in order". the first main course consisted of a (finely panned) stone beisserfilet with a (sic!) small auberginenscheibchen - tastefully very good, but the scope of the sweet supplement was really ridiculous. as the second main course came a calfspan with vegetable couscous - the meat I gave to warm back into the kitchen, because it was at most lukewarm. it is amazing that a restaurant of this liga decides for stoneware dishes and the teller still does not preheat. the meat was tender, the supplements were good, but the rhythm was disturbed by the extra loop in the kitchen. the dessert (Salbei ice cream with fresh apricots) was "in order". the wine-begleitung began with a white wine from the gascogne with a good bouquet. to the two main courses there was a chardonnay from macon and a red wine from cote du rhone, which I both felt as simple and not appropriate for a restaurant of this level. the dessert wine was again appealing. to the service is still to be noted here that the wine tasting came before and after serving the dishes, the course here is a little "happy". we have gone with a bill of 160€ for two people and have had an average eating experience in total, where only in the first stage the quality of our previous visit was still reflected. the drink share was much too expensive for what was offered with about 60€ of 160€. the wine prices in the entry segment are slightly over averaged with a (estimated) factor 4 to 5 of the retail purchase price, the mineral water is exorbitantly expensive with 7€ for the 0.7 bottle (approximately factor 10 of the retail purchase price). Conclusion: after this live locally due to its position of stemkundschaft and further recommended, it must consist of my own efforts to increase. from today it seems to me that the le barestovino has its best time rather behind it."

really tasty eating in a slightly chaotic atmosphere, personal seems to be overwhelmed and is inattentive, the waiting time for aftersake, questioning and paying were too long.

was with friends in le barestovino. eating is great. good French cheek. you have to book. always full. beautiful wine selection. this is also a wine cellar with space for approx. 20 people who can be booked as private space. I'd like to come back.

the staff was hopelessly overwhelmed, orders were only taken after 45 minutes, no "Great out of the kitchen", hectic and loud, personal tilts weinglas around, no replacement for spilled wein or apologise for wet pants of the gastes, absolutely impossible for a restaurant of this price class! Delicious and wonderful evening. Very very happy. Enjoyed a 4 course meal here and each dish was just a joy to eat bundled with flavors. We also had a delicious red wine from Israel to enjoy the evening with. As for price, it's on the steeper side however worth every penny. We would definitely return.

the local is divided into two areas. the actual restaurant is down the stairs at the back. in the front area, I've never seen anyone sitting. the card is clear and classic French. what is definitely worth is one of the menu options (from 3 to 6 walk). eating was so far qualitatiw always see good. the service professional, fast and with incredible French charm. the wine tasting costs only a few euro more to the menu and is definitely worth it. the prices are moderate, the price-performance ratio in consideration of the very good food and weep unbeatable well. Conclusion: Here I like to eat through the complete menu.

if they want to spend a nice, enjoyable evening in the leehel, they go to the le Barestovino! in the back part you will find the French restaurant as you expect. the special for us is the relaxed, loose atmosphere. it is warmly welcomed every person whether jeans or evening dress, child and cone included dog. every evening becomes an experience for us. Of course, the palate does not come too short. Feed and wee are well matched. Special wishes are happy to be fulfilled and accompanied with a smile. in summer the small courtyard offers the possibility to dine among the stars. the weinkeller is also available for closed companies. We like to come after work just on a glass of wine and a little... Ver carta

Our dining experience at Le Barestovino in Munich was outstanding. Located in a residential neighborhood about six blocks from the Marienplatz, the restaurant offers a cozy, intimate space with a convivial atmosphere. We enjoyed our favorite meal of a 10-day trip to Strasbourg, Salzburg and Munich at Le Barestovino. Our starters, entrees and desserts all were excellent. I especially relished my entrée of guinea fowl with stuffed cabbage - "Perlhühn Suprême mit gefüllte Wirsing und Madeirajus." The foie gras mousse starter also was delicious. The restaurant has a good wine list featuring French and local German selections from which we selected a delightful, nuanced bottle of Markus Molitor 2...

we were third and unfortunately also last time in le barestovino. two years ago we were still thrilled, but this time it was unfortunately below average. I can only share the opinions on this page: 2 service forces on a Saturday night for the whole restaurant simply don't suffice if they don't have a round view! How can you walk past a table without having a look there? all reservations came at 20 o'clock. the order: very long waiting time for the drinks. white wine was only poured after the starter, after you finally had the opportunity to ask. wait for the main course was then over an hour. kitchen obviously also overloaded, the table-spitz on a fairy-blue-risotto was like gum and uninspir...

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
