Le Beaulieu - Carta

This is a long stranding fine dining restaurant. Very popular with locals and specialist group visitors. Has a fine cellar. Has a garden dining set up which is also very popular.

We ate here while we stay at the hotel. The food was fabulous (and very rich), there is a wide selection of wines and the staff was polite and professional. I'd like to eat there again.

The perfect welcome, very well-kept establishment, the staff is at the height of the requested spots, a musical background would be nice to bear, the good quality cuisine to recommend if you visit the beautiful valley of the dordogne.

a very warm welcome, a menu from 15/08 to the top, , the service is excellent the waiters are very good advice for the wines, the cuisine is delicious, the seafood salad was to fall, the calf square and the black forest a feast, quality price nothing to say

I was in a nearby hotel with an excellent restaurant BUT it was closed! The restaurant I mean... so chose this place to eat and it was great! I looked a little rough (long drive false clothes) and I had my little dog... well, we were all greeted with open arms. Dinner was good. I love it and I'd go back. Ver carta

A poor experience this time, having been there in the previous two years. Maybe the ownership or chef has changed but the a la carte meal was pretentious with odd amuse bouches and pre starters which added little to the experience. Their fish courses were...lacking in flavour. Difficult to recommend in spite of the pleasant surroundings. Must try harder.

we had a very disastrous experience in this old local table at the time when the restaurant was called "the table of amelia" (before an administrative closure). Fortunately after a change of owner, the table has found its qualities as an old restaurant (hotel restaurant supplied) and the manor house of Beaulieu.Very nice table, good products, pleasant setting, efficient and discreet service. Keep going, we'll be back.

I gave these 4 stars through the service, which was excellent, efficient and very friendly. we both went for the set menu at 19 €. While not bad value the food was ok, but not great. In particular, id was asked how I wanted to cook my tuna and had asked for pink - it was definitely well done. The wine selection was good and we decided to go for a rose that was very good. The atmosphere was nice to keep in mind, it was early Feb but be a very large room and must be at least 50% full, which it was not calm. Overall a pleasant evening, but think that this place is strongly based on the quality of the service and not on the food Ver carta
