The lady who is believe was the manager was so helpful could even speak English and they had an English menu available too. The food was absolutely incredible, I really recommend the escargots the beef bougignon. We visited before the moulin rouge show which is just a couple of minutes walk away.

Friendly welcome in a busy small authentic French restaurant. Did not book but got lucky as 1 table was available. The food was simply amazing, made with pride and obvious expertise. The service was perfect, attentive without intrusion. I can be quite hard in my reviews as I work too hard to pay for cold bland food with poor service, here I found a benchmark I can’t recall ever enjoying so much . Absolutely perfect! I can’t wait to find a reason to return. This is a truly great Restaurant in a great part of Paris ! Don’t hesitate just go if you get the chance.

We reserved a table and did well: it was busy, but we got a fantastic table in a niche with plenty of space. It has to be said that walk in customers are rather unusual due to the location. A little insider tip! The service was great!!! Jacqueline came by regularly, always had a friendly word to say and spoke excellent English. Because we tried to speak French, the communication was even better. We had the offered 3 course meal, aperitif, wine and water it was to die for! And we were definitely full! It was fairly inexpensive, but the quality of the food and drinks, the ambience and the service justified it. We will be back! Ver carta
