"We really needed to take a break from our walks and we saw this place at a corner, in front of the Rodin Museum and hence not too far off from the Les Invalides, in an area where there is not much to stop for for a snack or so. We were not after eating anything special, but we really needed some drinks. That was easy to fix as well as some ice cream. The place per se' looks pretty neat, quite romantic, in typical Paris style, somewhat. A cute cafe' with quite much space and light. The service was quite ok but we really didn't ask anything complicated, so I am glad it went through without problems. The menu was typical touristic, which is a bit expected, but also a bit sad I think people would appreciate more genuine rustique french kitchen, but nevertheless, I believe that the main problem were the prices for everything. It is true that we have experienced Paris and the central areas as relatively expensive for food, and especially drinks at the restaurant, so this was probably nothing out of the ordinary, but it is a bit sad that the average tourist that is going around by foot and maybe with a family, has to have a quite high budget for even a refreshment."

Had bœuf de tatare, croque madame, Pessac-Léognan red wine (excellent) vin chaud and espresso. Everything was of very high standard in keeping with the quality of the neighbourhood . would recommend this place . Definitely NOT a tourist trap!!
