When my wife and I based ourselves in the 17th arr. for a 10-day visit to Paris recently, Café Ponce quickly became our go-to place for petit dejeuner and, almost as often, for dinner. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious!

coffee like you like to bet. not too big but enough not to feel strait. when it's hot the windows open completely what is very pleasant. The kitchen is simple (hamburgers, tartars, salads.) and good. all for an accessible price. perfect for lunch or dinner with friends or colleagues.

We were looking for a non touristy spot not far from the Arc de Triomphe and this place hit the spot. The food was very good, staff very welcoming. Surprisingly it was Google maps that brought us to the location. It is about a 10 minute walk, worthwhile going to if looking for an authentic local restaurant.

This has been a regular place of ours for almost two years, but the service is now horrible. Food is ok, but expect to wait half an hour for the overworked staff to come to the table and take your order. Afterwards you’ll have the pleasure of sheer arrogance and lack of professionalism as you are being served. Avoid like the plague plenty of places around the corner with better food and service! The boss, the kid, welcomes his clients in a warm mood. The map has been redesigned recently, it offers the essentials of the moment: organic, Asian influences, traditional bistronomy. everything to delight the most varied palaces.For me it is the mulch, a marinated chicken net, perfectly tender and scented. The chocolate mousse remains to fall. There are also generous and original salads. Eyes closed!

I love this place, a cafe where locals and visitors mix, Luc our waiter knew our drink order after our first visit, when he saw us sit drinks where brought without having to ask. Food was quite good and people watching was great with the sidewalk chairs. We saw that 75% of customers at the bakery across the street broke off a piece of their baguette on the way out of the store, with our view. We were cheering on people to eat the bread! A fun place and a Parisian experience!

This cafe is near to where I was staying, there was a reasonable amount of people eating and drinking at the establishment. It was 3:50 and it was a hot day, I was in need of a quick refreshment, there were two waiters outside, so she respectfully asked if it was ok for me to take a table outside, which they said yes to. Five minutes later another member of staff informed me that they were closed. I explained that two of her colleagues had said it was ok. I also expressed that I only wanted a quick drink to quench my thirst but she was not prepared to offer me a my simple request. I took my opportunity to speak with the manager who was also not prepared to be flexible and he just kept saying... Ver carta
