The pizza is very hard and crunchy, I left all the crust because it was quite dry. It's definitely a question of taste, maybe they like it so instead I prefer it softer to the Neapolitan style. So-so meatballs. Average service, they were quick, one waiter was very nice, the other was cold and rather annoyed. I visit Pizzo with the intention of biting into a nice truffle but in the end hunger wins and fortunately we enter here. Beautiful place overlooking the castle right in the square. Very nice place internally too. Ate mussels, octopus and green apple salad, spectacular fried calamari with applause for its softness and flavor and sea bream. Local facing the castle, elegant ancient internal part and beautiful show external part. Dishes of all kinds, meat, fish and vegetarian. Very nice presentation of the dishes, very high quality of very good products. Excellent service with kind and helpful guys who know how to advise without being pushy. Very honest prices (an average of €27 each for a starter, fish-based dish and/or land products such as porcini mushrooms, wine, water, sweet drinks and coffee. I recommend it to everyone, for me a third visit will certainly not be missed. I was there about a few weeks ago, unfortunately my experience was not positive, the place was a bit dirty, specifically I am referring to the chairs still with crumbs or residues from those who ate before, but on the other hand clean glasses without stains or lipstick, cutlery served with placemat, so positive note here, in any case a bit crowded with exposed pipes and walls with falling plaster, my brother and I ordered an appetizer 2 first courses and a bottle of water, appetizer with only one piece of cheese and just 4 cured meats, two meatballs and mushrooms in oil, the two first courses were with porcini mushrooms, overcooked pasta without salt, total 50 euros.
