Le Chai - Carta

Lunch at Le Chai beside the River Dordogne. Very close to perfect. Try it and see. TripAdvisor says I must use 100 characters but these last are not necessary

good eating in a garden under sunshade, very relaxing. the staff was friendly and the service was good. the house made brot tasty, wein cheap for a carafe and good quality. all three courses were delicious and well presented.

food is medium and not given. Pizzas around 12/16 euros have not convinced us. the child menu at 10 € is correct due to good dessert ice cream. black point: endless service. half an hour to take the order, as much to have the entries... Positive point: pleasant frame. Ver carta

We ate one night in this restaurant. We found it expensive enough for quality! Among other things, the chocolate melt has 8€ which is ultimately an industrial melt (or we still see the brand of the aluminum mould.) it is very expensive for an industrial product. We had taken pizza, they were good but there again, the price is pretty high! we went out to 80€ for 3 people (one child with the child menu has 12€ I think.)

a meal that I will really qualify as very poor quality for a relatively expensive price. The omelet of the children was insipid so they didn't want to finish it. In the hallway gizzards salad: poor tips of gizzards placed on salad leaves - no tasteIn the magret dish, but in reality it is 1/3 of magret with an uninterested sauce poured on it (I would have preferred the sauce except to have the taste of duck)Bref is a very bad address that I recommend you avoid.

We were 8 and not tourists reception cold and disrespectful. Towels dating from the beginning of the 19th century and napples stained. Service of more than 2h30 for pizzas (with brown hair svp) and menus at 25€ ! mistake on an order : duck needles served instead of a magret and the boss answers us : it will be very long for a magret and then it is duck ! we ask if it will be still long and this same person answers us : we have taken you without reservation then... We ate in this restaurant on Monday August 14th and we can say our disappointment...Only positive points: welcome and desserts...When in the rest: we are brought the aperitif at the same time as the entrance... so tell you that the poached foie gras is not going with a Spritz...Moreover, the portions are really very limited! a slice of liver quite small and very thin, 5 slices of magret not really rosé! and very few vegetables; the owners are looking for sale but it is not a reason to no longer treat its customers! Besides, it's expensive for the plate content.

let me begin by saying I love pizza! new york, toskana. I ate it. her little jewel is really somewhere to add to her list while at her celebrations to the dordogne. the owners offer a very warm welcome, the landscape is absolutely beautiful,...and eating is simply wonderful. Whether you want a delicious takeaway or a relaxed culinary experience, you do not hesitate to add this restaurant to some fantastic holiday memories. I should add, I am vegetarian and felt like I had a lot of choice. I have eaten here a few times, I am confident that this place is consistently large and is very good value for money.

warm welcome of a Saturday 12 August.4 adults and 3 children. Order: 2 children menus at 10 euros menu and 4 menus at 25 euros. Entries for children: incipides: 3 slices of tomato and the rest green salad. lool a very suitable for children and their stomach?! Adult entries too little nouritture and always bcp of green salads. In the passage the table was very dirty when arriving and bottom of the basket of bread cf photo... Adult resistance plates: magrets cf photo for quantity. On the side taste magrets unselled grease sauce rather good, potato (or seems to it a dauphinois gratin) unselled without taste, uninterested vegetables.For the cream dessert correct on the other hand the quantity on...
