We thought a Michelin star restaurant would be a great experience, and parts of it was. We were the only guests, though, so the staff disappeared for long stretches of time. Elegant, if a bit dated, décor.

We had a set meal here - it is for a special occasion. It's very quiet, not a lot of atmosphere, but the service and food is lovely. Each course was an experience - warm bread served on hot pebbles, with choices of butter. Each course was a work of art - top marks to the Cheff for taste and originality.

The quality of the fresh produce was good unfortunately a few blobs of sauces and packet in my case of couscous are not compatible with Michelin star? The meal was massively over seasoned by the chef and the experience not at all relaxing. 2 hours for a starter and a main course to be served and then to be told the kitchen is closing should we want a dessert ? More pressure - they know the time constraints and should serve accordingly?
