"Good morning I express my disappointment to you. The hotel les glycines room on the second floor Nauseous upwellings from the sewers are omnipresent. The room is poorly soundproofed...and minimalist. For €95 without breakfast it's truly shameful. Let's talk about the restaurant now Good welcome which suggests happiness. In fact the cook confuses spice and pepper.. and drier snails are not possible.. and the salt is not expensive I think... in short very disappointed I do not recommend at all ."

"On a cold and raining day in December we discovered this gem of a restaurant. The décor, provincial bourgeois with its comfortable chairs, crisp white linens and soft music was the perfect setting for a wonderful dining experience. I had for starter the foie gras which was cooked to perfection with the beet sauce providing a nice counterbalance to its onion jam. My husband swore its was the best cheese in puff pastry he ever had the crisp texture of the feuillete complimented by the caramelized apples . Our main course was a guinea hen with its morels mushroom sauce tender and bursting with flavor and a locally grown beef casserole stewed with spices . The freshness and quality of the products, the creativity of the chef in renewing local food classics and the wonderful food presentation were indeed worthy of a star restaurant. The desserts , a airy multi layered tiramisu with red fruits and an incredible orange French toast with gingerbread icecream, were a perfect ending to a perfect meal. Service was competent and unobtrusive. The total bill for the two menus was 61 Euros including a glass of very distinctive Vezelay wine. We will drive many kilometers to come back!"

"We had coffee here a number of times over our 2 week holiday. On the last day we had lunch here and what a surprise it was.We had Croque Madame and absolutely loved it. Others in group had omelets - same opinion.It's surprising as this wee cafe doesn't really look like it offers lunches, or food at all. Small chalkboards are hidden beside the door however and if you want brilliant food at really amazing prices - this is the place. Wish we had eaten here every time we dined out.Small issue with the chairs / tables being on a rickety intersection, but so long as you position yourself appropriately, it's a great place to eat, drink and people watch."

"It was the worst dinner we have in 10 days in France. Service was attentive and nice. Food was mediocre minus. We choose the 55 euro menu. For the amuse bouche we’re were served with bite of cauliflower that had to taste, guacamole on bread that had to taste, the egg with mayo that not supposed to be serve on any restaurant but diner and finally some potato mouse that really was the only dish we all loved. For the first course was served mushrooms mashed with herbs and fried in crumbs. It was ok, but was served on some kind of very tall and small decoration that make the agony to slice the “ball croquette”. For the main it was 5*8 piece of flavorless fish with peas and some absolutely burn lace like decoration. I don’t think you supposed to serve something that may look good but not supposed to be eaten. For dessert was cream puff, that we eaten better in the French bakeries and several petit fours that was ok. In overall it was disappointment."

"Je viens toujours déjeuner dans ce restaurant quand je me rend dans le Morvan. La principale raison est la terrasse ! Idéalement située en hauteur, on peut prendre un bain de soleil avec une jolie vue.Concernant les plats, si je n'ai pas mit 5, c'est parce que ce n'est pas toujours génial. Il y a systématiquement un plat dans le lot qui manque de saveur, ou de cuisson par exemple. Idem pour le serveur qui est de bonne humeur une fois sur deux ^^.Mais dans l'ensemble de bons produits, un rapport qualité prix tout à fait correct, et un bon service dans l'ensemble également."
