"This quaint cafe offers great baked goods, breakfasts/brunch deals, and great coffee at fair prices. You can get a breakfast formule for 10€ and includes: fresh fruit served with granola and a type of cottage like cheese, coffee, juice, and a baked item. The staff are not only friendly but also helpful. The interior is nicely decorated, has warm lighting, plays relaxing music at a low volume, is rather small so there’s limited seating but there is also outdoor seating available if the weather is good."

I arrived by chance in this pretty little café 2 steps from Perrache Station. Excellent discovery, the brunch fell! Fresh products, home, large reception. A very good address to discover without delay.

Exquisite cuisine in a warm setting, and what's more, at low prices! We enjoyed ourselves from starter to dessert, and the coffees are also of high quality. Special notion of the panna cotta of the day, with chai spices. We can't wait to come back for afternoon tea, to try the pastries from the counter, including the tempting cinnamon rolls. Thank you again for this moment of culinary pleasure, and your simple welcome

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
