We were a group of steps disappointed with the menus made in advance, good restaurant with pleasant setting and very smiling welcome. mj

This restaurant makes the most of the local produce and offers tasty extra titbits between courses. An emphasis on history and the home-made. Ver carta

Despite the fact that we only held a 35 Euro menu the courses just on the next... Amuse Bouche, followed by more Amuse Bouche, followed by so many courses... and then Dessert... all prepared by the cartridge while Patron Lane served. I didn't want to eat it in a hurry, but with the time to save it, was a doroghly pleasant meal. We will return.

This gite is great. Attention, not for everyone, the building makes think of an old family pension, the staircase is steep, the craque floor, the showers are of another era, etc. so I remove a star for comfort but otherwise for a large family stay in the countryside it tickles a lot of cases, the children have had the ideal playground for a cash cache, everyone loved it.

very clean hotel with everything you need for a short stay because small wardrobe. the staircase is very narrow but a help is kindly offered to lift the luggage or the descendre. Friendliness, helpfulness, empathy, are qualities that I have been able to observe in this hotel. of a very good quality price. Go rest in the dolphin. I recommend it to you at a hundred percent. The only reason I haven't given this 5 stars is because, although the food was utterly delicious and imaginative, there was just too much. Went for a 3 course menu but every course was interspersed with a starter sized amuse bouche, and the meal itself...started with one. So if you go, be aware, and be prepared to stagger from the table! The welcome was excellent and appropriately friendly, and very helpful. We'd hoped to stay the night but Le Dauphin was full and the owner went to the trouble of phoning a friend to arrange accommodation and took us personally to the place. Personal service indeed!

Not far from this establishment is the Mont des Avaloirs, the highest point culminating in the Great West region and the starting point of sources giving birth to very long rivers like the Mayenne and not far the Sarthe... Very little emphasised for its wealth of hiking and panoramic views, it still remains very popular by cyclists for its steep slopes that make it an unmissable place of many major sports rendezvous, yesterday again spent a stage of the Mayenne loops with professional riders! Come and discover this place full of history. Maybe soon? The Normandy Maine Natural Park will be a UNESCO World Heritage Site... Outstanding geological sites, biodiversity and protected environment
