"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there.We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious.For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable.One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."

"Buichón de lión típico, interior y pequeñas mesas, letra pequeña. la comida era muy buena, pero después de ordenar que vino después literalmente unos minutos, por lo que parece que se preocupan por el servicio más rápido posible para deshacerse de los invitados y cambiarlos rápidamente. un restaurante con tripadvisor y elección distintiva de viajeros, sin tarjeta en cualquier idioma extranjero, la camarera que también escuchó el inglés sólo habló francés sin siquiera tratar de explicar y comunicarse con nosotros u otros clientes en la mesa de al lado. "Went there for lunch with a group of 5 people. The food was honestly good and price were correct. But for me lunch was ruined by a very questionnable service. The waitress is shaking the hand of every single customer and then goes in the kitchen, helps the cook and brings the plates to the tables without washing her hands at all. The kitchen door was completely open so we could see every thing she was doing back there. This is unacceptable to me in a restaurant."

"We went there at an hour when there was normally no service but we tried to do it because we just wanted to eat some oysters and shrimp on the chip, a spontaneous urge but not too much temp. and the restaurateur was super nice to welcome us and super fast while telling us great anecdoctes and oyster knowledge. He made us a table between lovers and hop we could taste some oysters and shrimp. simple, efficient but joyous. He even made us taste the salmon he smoked himself for free. We have so much appreciated the authenticity of the restorer and its place. he is passionate and his kitchen is made home with fresh products chosen with seriousness. We feel like he doesn't sell kitchen but he likes good cooking, real good things. We strongly recommend this restaurant because it has a real soul. Thanks to you guys from the briey"

"Nostalgic of Josephine's time, my opinion can be fuzzed, you see me sorry. Despite the butter steak (speciality of the house) unfortunately served cold, the kitchen remains appreciable: sausage, fries, salad and chocolate marquis. The atmosphere and attention to the guest has changed. We often had to call the waitress to get what we missed. Gnafron aperitif cocktail too sweet to my taste, against Montagieu and Morgon were excellent as well as coffee. Without a doubt, for a better atmosphere of the place, one day a week must be preferred to restore it."
