"Very nice atmosphere in a nice surrounding, perfect service, average food. We had been many times in the past to this restaurant where we enjoyed the food, but it seems that now the new chef has changed the menu and we do not like it at all. We had some white polenta with mushrooms, highly recommended by the Maitre D, and itwas tasteless compared to some polentas I had in many restaurants in Italy. My Penne, with truffles and Italian cheese was really not good at all (My taste only : But my father was Italian !). The coquelet with roasted potatoes was covered with garlic and my wife could not eat it. When we ordered the ricotta for dessert at the end of the dinner, we were told that there was no more left and we instead decided to order some ice creams (OK but bland compared to the Barbarac ones in St Tropez). I wish I could go back to the this splendid restaurant, but only when they will change the menus..I prefer by very far, the italian restaurant "La Forge" in Ramatuelle. No comparison for the food!"

Romantic for dinner on the terrace near the pool. Occasionally live music during the summer. Delicious Italian & Continental cuisine.

What an amazing little place right in the heart of St. tropez. We visited for dinner and we had a fantastic meal. It is certainly not cheap, but you get what you pay for. The service was very good and the waiters advised us perfectly. Wonderful evening! Ver carta

The Patio (in the Hotel Yacca) is not bad for a monday night, when you are tired and don't want to go to far...The starter was not bad but not worth 27 Euros! The same with the main dish "monkfish" was not bad but not good! So was the atmosphere... Just really average - but I am too old and too poor for a second time!

We tried this restaurant for the first time during our visit to St Tropez in August and we enjoyed it so much we came back for our last night. The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. All the staff we met were lovely - in particular we would like to mention Maude, who was extremely helpful. The restaurant setting is also a real positive - it's on a pretty terrace next to the pool which is very cosy and picturesque. We would very much recommend this restaurant!

We only stopped for afternoon tea but can't wait to go back - beautiful 18th century setting, tasteful décor (only just re-open after recent refurbishing), delicious Dammain frères tea ("passion de fleur" to die for), lovely design delicate porcelain cups, lovely flowers, absolute peace (we were escaping the Harley Davidson meet!) only a stone's throw from the Mairie, reception personnel delightful, smiling, helpful, good on advice and the new restaurant manager who took the time to tell us about the hotel renovation (and got 2 I-phone obsessed teenagers to listen...) - a lovely afternoon treat Ver carta

Clearly the reason to go to this restaurant is the romantic setting. Located poolside in the newly renovated Le yaca , it is an absolutely beautiful scene. It feeels like you are sitting in a beautiful garden in Provence with lights and a water feature. The wonderful Andrea balducci who entertained us with songs from the 50s 60s and 70s just topped off the perfect setting. The purple artichoke salad was subtle and delicious. The pastas with Truffles were sublime. The dorado came with mussels which we don't eat so we had to send it back and they brought fresh fish with no complaint. The fish was acceptable if unimaginative. The tiramisu was great. The rest of the deserts were not special. Eve...

My wife and I visited this restaurant when staying in Saint Tropez from 16 till 26 of September. This restaurant, part of the Hotel Le Yaca, is extremely expensive with their drinks. Wine's starting 55€ a bottle (for the cheapest rosé wine) and even more for the cheapest reds and white wine's. These wines are sold with a margin of minimum by x6 or x 7 or even more. Shame on you ! These restaurant takes very high margins with there wines and other beverages. BEWARE ! To close our diner we took 2 very small expresso's each 8 Euro 's ! not even a cookie on the side ! When we paid the bill, I had to pay more than a 100€ only for the drinks ! (wine, aperitif, coffee). The food wasn't bad and the pr...

"It was the best of meals, The second, not so much. On the Wednesday evening we explained that we needed one gluten free meal. We were immediately handed over to a charming lady, who we took to be the proprietor. She assured us that she would confer with the chef. We ordered a “coquelet roti” with a cream and grape sauce and a fillet steak served without sauces. Chips were covered in gluten but the chef proposed a salad for the steak and the “coquelet” came with a Gratin Dauphinoise. All the food was delicious. The chicken was soft and sweet the sauce had a depth of flavour aided and abeted by the small bursts of sweet grape juice from the grapes within it. The steak was perfect; maximum of flavour from the seared outside, maximum of soft juiciness from the tender pink interior. Dessert was a fruit crumble that had not had the crumble added, pronounced delicious, and a crème broulee. The crème was not a traditional baked vanilla egg custard. It tasted like a flour based preparation and was devoid of vanilla. All in all, the service had been attentive and the food mostly great. We determined that we would return for a second meal and looked forward to it.Mistake! Sunday evening, the waitress remembered us, and promised to check for gluten free food. She checked the Champaign sauce that was served with the Salmon. We could not have it. She was not aware that the rice, the dauphinoise and the chips all contained gluten. She suggested salad. We said that would be fine. The Dorade Royale, one of my favourite fish was sold out but they could offer Sea Bass. O.K., that would do. The salad delivered with the dry salmon was a simple bag mix of leaves, not the fresh mixed salad it had been four days before. It had brown stalks and tasted stale. The fish was undoubtedly the worst cooked fish I have ever been served. It had clearly been laid on a metal tray and placed under an electric grill. It had not been turned or moved until it was served. Consequently, the top skin was like leather. It defied my efforts with the serrated knife provided to cut through it. I had to prize it off to get to the very dry fish beneath. A simple glaze of oil would have ensured that the skin became crispy and a delicious part of the fish. It would also have ensured that the (Chef?) remembered to turn the fish under the grill. When I turned the fish on the plate, the lower side skin was a soggy mess where all the juices had soaked it through. Scraping it off, the second fillet was edible, despite the attentions of the chef. We told the waitress what was wrong with our food. She said she would tell the chef. We don’t know if she did. We did not see him."
