it is hard to find somewhere in castelsarrassin and the opening times of many places are not displayed. this was our 2nd visit and the sitting area of the terrace is very beautiful. we took our dog and they were very welcoming. not the most inspiring menu, and the usual fails to secure itself there as a homeburger and confit that I had. it was a little dry and I suspect that pre made, but overtaking pleasant enough and good value overall.

it is hard to know when the restaurant is actually open as we tried to go a few times and found it closed in the night. last attempt was a Saturday evening but also by chance we were passing recently and it was open. they should show the hours outside. the waitress was friendly and welcoming and the menu was ok. nothing has run out to excite me, but I decided for the jam of the duck. it was served with sautéed kartoffeln and both were nice enough. a green salat or sweet side was needed to break the last and I would have known that I would have decided to do so.
