"As I had stated in my review of the Hotel 'Paris Marriot Champs-Elysees ', this bistro combined with having a drink first, in the beautiful ambience of the lobby bar, is a great way to spend your first night a la 'Jetlag night ' as most of...the restaurants that you 'd have the energy to walk to that are close to the hotel....are terrible! It is so nice to have a lovely place where you can have a drink and a nice meal when you are so 'off ' because of the time difference. The bistro excels at mixing French classics with Asian influence as was the case with our delicious lamb shank done in a mild sweet and sour sauce that was a cross between Shanghai meets Paris. It was very good and the meat was superb. The sides are geared towards American signature dishes (if you need a fix your first night) or more interesting french bistro dishes like the steamed pommes de terres and Champignons in a light vegetable juice that was excellent. Servings are geared towards American tourists and the staff speaks in English and only switches to French if you reply in such. The appetizer of the serrano prosciutto and goat cheese on a paper thin baguette was truly my favorite appetizer while staying in Paris. All in all....a perfect first night restaurant that guarantees a tasty, hearty meal without having to make the trek further away from the 'Champs ' to find someplace similar."

Our son had raw salmon that made him sick for two days. We ate outside the hotel after this Nastiness.

Convenient location -- especially if staying in the hotel. Good buffet selection. Nothing fancy, but everything you want and plenty of it. Service was also good. Clean and efficient. All this at a good price/value point.

The buffet breakfast really has limited selection of foods. Probably, if I had missed out something, but it really seemed to have a small selection of cold cuts, breads, eggs, sausages, bacon, yoghurt, humus waffle pancakes. What baffled me is the waffle is...already cooked placed on a cold plate not heated. It tasted cold dry all the way. In fact I feel bread tastes better. Staff service is wonderful polite. Nothing much to complain about since my breakfast is free. But if I were to pay £42 for such breakfast, I will rather end up hungry. I am a strong supporter of cafes at Marriott but this one really puts me down.
