"I generally stay away from hotel restaurants and prefer to eat in local mom and pop restaurants. On this occasion we were a bit mobility limited with someone in our party so we chose to eat at the hotel. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Service was prompt and our serve answered all of our questions. Our order was taken and food arrived in good time; well presented and cooked as desired. I did not drink any wine, but it looked like they had an above average selection and the grapes were flowing. The server continued to be attentive throughout the meal and made sure we were well attended to. Prices were reasonable and we ate there several times. I'd go back and highly recommend it to others."

I ordered and truly enjoyed the lamb chops. These were cooked perfectly. Also had flaming Crème Brule which was also very good. Breakfast buffet was well appointed.

I was there twice, twice business meeting and twice dishes was just only ok without any special taste. Once we waited for waiter about 30 min second time it was faster. Prices there are not too low.

We ate both dinner and breakfast at Le Trivium. Dinner was excellent: very tasty and well prepared. We enjoyed a breakfast buffet the next morning with many options. The service was excellent English spoken.

Restaurant was quite nice for a hotel restaurant! We sat outside on a summer day and it was lovely! The only problem was the service was very slow, although they were quite pleasant when they did come around.

We were in transit and on a schedule for a flight. We saw a nice Club Sandwich being delivered at a table. We asked the waiter for the same plate. With his nice Paris look, he said the Dejeuner was closed since 2:00PM. But 2 tables from us, they ask and got one. Nice!

Amazing for its packaged continental breakfast. Croissants tasted as if they came from some midwest huge commercial bakery and flown in! Dry, tasteless. Apricot pastry couldn't distinguish the apricot taste from the dough. Really poor product at quite high price 19euros for this stuff.

We were staying at the Paris CDG Airport Marriott to catch a next day flight. Before taking the hotel shuttle to the airport, we enjoyed a bountiful breakfast. The only challenge was deciding which, of the many, items to add to our plate. Breakfast was our only meal at Le Trivium, but it was a good choice.

We went down for an early dinner here on a weekday evening. There were only a few customers present and we were seated served quickly. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass. My wife ordered their French Onion soup and I had the sautéed tuna. Both were excellent. The tuna came just like I ordered it as rare as possible. It tasted like sushi grade tuna very tender and delicious.

Read the reviews and thought this would be a good choice for our last night in France. I ordered the pollock with potatoes and cauliflower.Portion was minuscule and potatoes and cauliflower were but a garnish. Asked for plain water and got charged for a bottle of Evian which was not even opened at the table. Food was good but nor in line with the prices. Wines were expensive. Service was ok.

"We have been in France for almost 9 weeks (5 1/2 in Paris, 1 in Nice and 2+ in Provence). Tonight was our last night, spent at an airport hotel, and we went to this place in the village. Unfortunately, the experience was not atypical of many dining experiences we have had in France. I have heard all the explanations and the excuses and I don't care -- bad service is bad service and rude is rude. We have had several very good experiences with service in France, but more often they have been marginal or, like tonight, outright bad. We were given menus and a drink and then waited almost 20 minutes before my wife got up and chased down the waiter (attention owner: he is a thin fellow in his forties), who finally took our order. Despite her asking the waiter several times whether the place could actually cook her steak medium rare (something the French are singularly and consistently unable to do) and despite being assured that they could, the steak came back medium --medium well. No apology from the waiter of course when he saw that it was not cooked properly. But then he also (as is not uncommon) never asked us how our meals were, and never brought us bread or water (which is uncommon). We ordered a second drink apiece, which the waiter apparently forgot about, as he went to three other tables after our order and brought drinks to them. My wife finally got up, went inside and asked him for le addition (we have learned to do this after countless experiences where we tell the waiter that we are finished and we wait forever for the bill, despite sitting at the table and tapping the credit cad against the table and not being engaged in any conversation) and told him to forget about the drinks (which he already had, anyway). His response was that it was busy (not very much). Again, no apology. We love France and have had some great experiences at restaurants, but this place exhibited the typical French attitude. Despite what you may have heard, the typical French waiter at the average restaurant or bistro (I am not talking about a fine restaurant) not only has a nonchalant or standoffish attitude but also does not know much about how the food is prepared and has no sense of professionalism. Americans need to get over the fear of being perceived as aggressive or demanding and call a spade a spade -- bad service is bad service wherever it happens and should not be tolerated. If you are in Europe and you get good service tip appropriately and when you get bad service let the waiter and anyone you see in charge know what you think."
