I came here with my dad to experience an old school Parisian style cabaret and hear the songs of Piaf. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, we all sang together and enjoyed great food and drinks. The whole night had such heart and spirit, I was very glad for the experience and recommend it to anyone visiting Paris. It should be part of your 'must do' list. Ver carta

Visited this place on Saturday 1.4. with my mother. We had learned there would be music and singing. Little did we know that we would find ourselves in the middle of a "let-us-all-together-sing-old-french-songs-together-accompanied-by-wonderful-woman-on-accordion" evening Simply the place to visit if you look for service minded staff, nice food and the best french feeling!!

My husband are in Paris celebrating our anniversary. We're staying in an Airbnb just a couple of blocks away. My French is not great. And my husband's is worse, but the proprietor made every effort to accommodate our bumbling. The food was excellent. The wine fair. The atmosphere amazing. There were four or five groups who all were reticent about the boisterous lady singing and playing the accordion. After the second carafe of wine werewolf all friends,singing along as best we could. I'd recommend it to anyone with a light heart!

We've forgotten the proprietor's name, but what a gracious man! We hadn't a reservation, but he welcomed us and made physical room for us in a relatively crowded space. Our neighbors in two separate tables near us were pleasant company too! Our French not being so good, our host/proprietor explained each dish for us, in English. Our choices were the confit de canard, a filet mignon and a salade mariniere. All were tasty and satisfying. It's a little pricey, the European market, but in context, this was value for money. We regret that we could not stay for the music that was starting up as we left; it was a long day of travel. We recommend Le Vieux quite readily! Ver carta
