"This is my favorite restaurant in Paris. I always have the plateau de fruits de mer (after the maître d’hôtel assured me that bulots were available). The server kindly found us a table that was quieter than what was originally presented but still had the view of Place Blanche. The shrimp, oysters, bulots (whelks), and clams were fresh and bright. We also had a choucroute with smoked fish and another of sausages. A new waiter seemed to be training with us. He was eager to please, and maybe the faults were not his, but the wrong bottle of wine was brought when we ordered an additional bottle of the same white wine. We had to ask twice for plain water. It was minor and quickly corrected. My husband thought the choucroute was a little off. Maybe it was the weather."

family lunch for 15 people, the formula at 40€ is correct. The service is perfect, the staff is efficient and benevolent. The place is nice.

dirty toilets, zero service (we have to constantly demand everything including covers), the historic brewery of the place clichy loses its stars.

Another classic eatery in Paris. Don't let the white table cloths scare you off. There is a set dinner menu for 40 Euro that includes Apéritif Entrée Plat Dessert Café which translate to pre-diner drink, an appetizer that includes oysters as an option, main, dessert (chocolate mousse) and a cafe. And you get a half bottle of wine with dinner! (or sparkling mineral water) Great deal but also great food and great service. A definite stop especially if you are in the area.
