"Visited this restuarant this evening was very much looking forward to it as a friend had recommended . The waitress came to take our order with the attitude i dont want to be here i had the rolled belly pork which had the string left on, when i mentioned it she was very flippant and said oh it must have been left on. We finished our main and plates taken we were not offerrd a dessert menu my friend had to go and get them . So we decided we would have irish coffee and again my friend had to go and order them at the bar. The waitress that had been serving our table suddenly appeared with a lighter in hand then she clearly stood at the bar with nail glue in her hand mending her nails not really appropriate when serving food. One of the other waitresses brought our drinks. I my self work in hospitality and was horrified by the service that was given. It was clear there was no management there to keep an eye on the staffs attitude."

Booked a table for Mother’s Day and when we arrived to treat our mum, we was turned away saying they couldn’t fit us in even though we booked a table. Will never go back again if this is how they disappoint customers. Twice before they mixed our bill up in there favour and we was out of pocket. Never again.

My friends and I went to Leandra's for Sunday lunch and we had a lovely meal at excellent value. Our only constructive criticism was that the individual lemon meringue pie had soft meringue and hardly any lemon! The rest of the meals and desserts were great. Good service from staff all in all a big success!

We had an absolutely amazing meal at Leandra today. There were 6 adults and a 1-year-old in our group, and the service, food quality, and menu choices were exceptional. The staff went above and beyond for us. We will definitely be coming back to try more items from the menu. We strongly recommend making reservations, as the restaurant is busy for a reason - it truly is an incredible place! Ver carta

Lovely restaurant. Was very busy on our visit at the weekend. Great food. Plenty of choice on the menu. Staff here were fantastic and managed to fit us in without reservation. Not to far to walk from Colin Campbell carpark. Plenty of seating in 2 sections. Toilets available on on site including disabled toilet. Average pricing for the meals. Great dessert selection. Highly recommended a visit if your in town.

Food was great, service outstanding and prices very reasonable. However, there are only highchairs in the restaurant, which meant I had my year old very irritable on my lap until half way through my main course. Not impressed. Then he needed to have a nappy change, and there are no changing facilities, so I had to lay my jumper on the floor in to change him. So more high chairs and a flip down changing mat is a must really.

"Visited on a busy Saturday evening. General impression is the restaurant is clean, well presented and evidently well liked for how many people were in the small dining area. A little noisy, particularly in the confined space beside the kitchen, when seated close beside a louder table. As the evening progressed, we felt quite cold not sure if the heating was on? Service from the staff was outstanding, very friendly, polite, attentive, but food was slow to arrive. We were a little perplexed by having the appetiser on the table before our starter/main order had been taken, so having to work around still having the menus. The smoked butter was very strong my partner liked it, it was too much for me. Both fish starters were good, with the mackerel our favourite. The main courses were OK. The lamb was fine, but served with lamb fat root veg meant the whole plate was very similar flavoured, and the green beans/salsa verde felt like an afterthought. The skate wing was nice, and the crispy capers were a new and pleasant experience. The desserts rescued the food for me the creme brulée was outstanding, and the chocolate special was very good, with exception of a slightly chewy meringue. I feel I'm being picky with my criticisms, but fig tree is definitely priced higher than other more standard fare restaurants in Plymouth where we have also had very good food."
