"Localino situato nel centro storico di Moncalieri, ristretto e riservato. Pochi coperti sia dentro che fuori. Meglio dentro che fuori perché la parte esterna affaccia su un parcheggio interno un po’ triste, meglio le volte a botte con mattone a vista interno. Essendo un bistrò c’è Possibilità di passare una cenetta romantica e tranquilla perché la location lo permette ma attenzione, non sforate nel weekend le 23 perchè diventa un cocktail bar quindi si riempie di giovani e aumentano i decibel. Il menù curato e ricercato ma i piatti poi sono un po’ “piatti”. Straordinario invece il dessert allo zafferano. (metterei meno cioccolato che copre gli altri gusti). I costi forse leggermente più alti della media anche se le porzioni sono decisamente abbondanti. Carta di vini interessanti ma carucci. Servizio cordiale, familiare e solare. Comoda la prenotazione con the fork con possibilità di sconto alla cassa. Consigliato AT"

"THE best restaurant I have eaten in in a very long time! There was 9 of us and my little boy visiting family in Turin. We came across this restaurant next to our hotel and well after the first night visiting we had to go back on our last night. Lorenzo and the team were so helpful, caring and generous. The food was amazing! And the range of wine is exceptionally good. Next time we are back to see the family we will definately be going back for a dinner. If you’re looking for a quiet quick pizza and wine/beer or a family get together then this is the place to be. Thank you From the Marino family."

"Location Art Nouveau style elegant and refined, every detail is in its place in line with the style of the restaurant. Excellent quality of dishes, impeccable service!! Bread and focaccia homemade delicious and we never stayed without....the superlative focaccia... refined and delicious pumpkin dumplings! I'll be back for sure!!! Famous for ice cream served in many different ways...also with marina lies or small baba....a wonder!"

"The location is not very close to Torino, since it is on the outer side of the hills that coast eastwards the town and the river Po. Anyway, it is quite easy to reach, driving across the hills or from the southern circle motorway (Moncalieri). The small restaurant is along the country road between Trofarello and Pecetto in the village of Valle Sauglio, it is not very eye-catching from outside, there is a comfortable nearby parking. The ambience is cozy but elegant, the tables are well spaced. The food is mainly based on the local piedmontese tradition, cleverly reworked, with some glances to seafood. The quality is overall very high, the dishes are presented with taste and elegance. There is a considerable list of local, italian and international wines. A curiosity among the desserts is an instantly made ice-cream prepared by the table with liquid nitrogen. The prices are reasonably high but in proportion with the high level of the restaurant."
