"We had'nt booked a table on the Bank Holiday evening and the pub was pretty full but the lovely lady behind the bar offered us the opportunity to sit outside which was fine. However, while we were waiting for our food to arrive a table for 2 became vacant inside the pub and we happily took that one. As we were sitting at the bar mulling over what to eat a gentleman next to us having heard our deliberations told us that in his opinion the pies were really, really good. Well, of course with that recommendation we both went for the steak and ale pie and were not disappointed. They were absolutely delicious. Came out piping hot and so full of beautifully tender beef they were fabulous. My chips were slightly anemic looking but it made no difference at all to the meal. All the staff were really helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. They do have a Quiz Night on a Monday night and so we were very lucky to get a space inside probably more sensible to book !!"

Situated in a small village on the outskirts of Penryn, "The Arms" is a genuine local pub that offers affordable food in a cozy setting. The service was quick and friendly.

We made a visit to this restaurant for some food and had one of the best burgers I have ever tasted! The food was fantastic, the staff were friendly, and it's a lovely village pub.

Traditional Cornish Pub offering very tasty generous size roast dinners including a vegetarian option and a child's meal. Everyone was happy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Also dog friendly as we brought our dog with us. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend. Ver carta

This charming local pub in Mylor Bridge is a hidden gem frequented by locals. The menu offers excellent value and a variety of specials, all made with ingredients sourced from local suppliers, perfect for showcasing the best of Cornwall. Those who enjoy ale will appreciate the selection of Cornish Best on tap - a true paradise for ale lovers.

Really deteriorated over last 12 months we visited twice as a family of 4 over a 10 day period in August. We booked tables both times, each time on arrival warned there was a half hour wait, both times the wait was an hour or just over an hour. No one came to update us on wait times on either occasion and there seemed to be a staff shortage front of house. Food is very acceptable basic fare, usually well cooked. Whoever takes the bookings is either ill informed or greedy, there is no excuse for taking more bookings than the kitchen is capable of servicing. Such a pity. The lemon Arms has been a family favourite for a decade or more, but no longer.

We called at the Lemon Arms for lunch after a good walk along the River Fal and the creek. There were lots of people inside, always a good sign, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We ordered, in my wife's case, soup, and in my own, mackerel pate and toast. The two dishes took quite a time to come, so it was a good job we weren't in a hurry, but both were enjoyable. Our main criticism would be that the bread or, in my case, the toast served was pretty ordinary. Quite often in Cornwall, you get either a cheese scone or a chunk of garlic bread with your soup, but not here. I regretted that. But the service was courteous, and we enjoyed our visit. We would call again. Ver carta

We were looking for a local pub to eat at where we could bring our dog, it was a Monday and it was Quiz night so we booked an early table. We had the smoked mackerel pate and the seafood linguine and it was excellent. The fish was of good quality snd tasted really fresh. The mussels were really good! We returned the following night and I had the mushrooms and my partner had the bbq chicken burger which was enormous but really tasty. The food wasn’t expensive, the portions were big,the ales were great, the pub was full of locals and we got a good friendly welcome. The only possible negative thing I would say is that the tables were sticky but that’s all. We loved this pub.

We had dinner here on a Monday night in early Oct whilst staying in a local holiday cottage and wanting to meet up with local friends. As we all enjoy a quiz night, the Lemon Arms on a Mon eve was perfect so we booked! The 6 of us enjoyed starters and main courses and a couple of ice creams as desserts. Portions were large and tasty. I had seafood linguine which included lots of fresh big juicy mussels in their shells. The quiz was good too a particularly tough one that night apparently, but amazingly our team won it's free to enter, with prize being a free round of drinks. Sadly we couldn't make the most of our winnings due to several drivers in our group so our prize order included some cu...

"So let us share our experience, We went in tonight as a family after seeing that it home made food on the drive to sennen and looked online and had a good look at the food available on the menu also looking to see if it was dog friendly and it ticked all the boxes, Upon arrival me and my wife went in 1st to ask if we could have a table for food and if dogs can go inside and staff were a little unsure but they confirmed we could upon asking for a table for 7 but one in a pram he said we don’t have the availability to cater I was looking at a table big enough and eventually said that this table was available whilst being seated we had 2 table one clean and the 2nd just been finished with so needed a clean but he came and cleaned both tables and he squirted the cleaner on a clean table and the over spray bounced off the table and went over our selfs then we were handed a menu freshly printed A4 paper thrown on the table (WET TABLE) so they stuck to the table upon agreeing what we wanted we went to the bar within 2-3 mins of being seated we knew what we wanted and when we asked for the meal it was OUT OF STOCK (Sunday lunch) ok fair so as I was with a family member at the bar I quickly rushed back to the table to ask my daughter of an alternative she wasn’t happy, So I made a meal up of all the extras on the menu so I went back to the bar to find my family member ordered 2 fish and chips then I realised my wife also wanted Sunday lunch so I quickly rushed back to ask her what she wanted and went back to the bar just as my family member left and asked for fish and chips was also sold out also! 99% of the menu was SOLD OUT this should of been discussed upon arrival not as we were ordering I run and operate my own business and this isn’t how I would treat my customers this isn’t how an establishment should be ran! Even when I was standing trying to order a member of staff was standing there arm against the wall doing nothing while customers are standing waiting to be served! So we decided not to eat and my family member went back to the bar to ask for a refund as we couldn’t eat as a family and the staff were iffy about offering a refund but 10 minutes later they did refund my family member as it became a scene for other people as they could see what had happened! This establishment should be call the 1st and late time you come here! We ended up walking to the chip shop down the road for food we are very disappointed in this company and establishment! For anyone who wants to eat please make sure they HAVE STOCK how can this establishment run without stock? Never again tonight they lost over £200 revenue due to this situation!"
