"The restaurant is situated beyond the gate to the city and, as a result can be easily missed. After going down some steps there is a pleasant courtyard where the food is served (weather permitting - although there is indoor accommodation). We went for the menu of the day which represented reasonable value for France these days. There was a reasonable choice on the menu with four (I think) main choices My wife chose the simple option of an omelette - which she enjoyed and I had a faux filet with frites and a green salad served with a tasty sauce which I enjoyed. My wife had the house wine which she said was good and we had a large bottle of sparkling water at an acceptable cost. We took cheese as a dessert - local Rocamadour goats' cheese which was very tasty. The service was excellent, fairly quick and very pleasant - they even listened to my bad French without chipping in with English. Overall I would recommend the restaurant; it is tourist stuff but you will probably get a good meal at acceptable prices."

Had familly lunch during rocamadour visit. The restaurant has a nice shady terrasse. Price is a bit expensive but the food is good and service is quick enough.

Beautifully presented, beautiful flavours. Tangy, fresh and tasty. I want it again! The restaurant is well operated with a good menu. Children's menu is also good with the Duck and chips very good. Hope to return sometime.

We traveled to Rocamadour in November, not knowing that most restaurants, shops, and venues are closed during the low-season. We were fortunate to find Les Jardins open for lunch. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was delicious.

The restaurant has lovely sheltered outdoor tables, surrounded by greenery and flowers. Service was good, prices reasonable and the food highlighted local specialities. The tarts were particularly good - we enjoyed both the apple and the walnut tarts.

Glad we made it all the way along to the end of the main road to find this great little restaurant. We were tempted in by the annual Guide Routard plaques on the wall outside. In the summer there is nice outside seating with lovely views. Charming waiter and great service, happy to explain dishes on the menu and talk though our local wine choice.Varied menu, all cooked well, particularly enjoyed the duck.

New venue for us this one. Food was good - great cassoulet, lovely salmon with curry sauce but the vegetable soup had no salt and was not enjoyable. Desserts of gateaux noix and walnut icecream were delicious. So waht ruined it a little bit? Well it was expensive for basic food but its Rocamadour so I guess you should expect that. But the worst bit for all of us were the flies. They were absolutely everywhere and we all spent the whole meal wafting flies off our food - Im sure they could do something about this.

Good service the outside was busy, but we wanted to be inside given it was so hot: and it was lovely and cool and quiet in there. The staff were good and appreciated us trying to speak French. Isaac (16) tried a pizza...with gesiers (chicken gizzards)......nor sure he'll have them again! Poppy (16) a reine pizza huge and she almost managed to finish it! My wife had a mushroom omelette which she said was delicious.... And I had confit duck parmentier (basically a mashed potato topped pie: really tasty, but I could have done with more pie and less greens (greens occupied about 80% of the plate) great value, and attentive service......just too many flies! (suggest the owner invests in a fly ele...

We had walked the full length of the town looking for somewhere suitable to eat, and reached the end of the main street prior to it dropping down the valley. We could see the restaurant name on the side of the building so went to take a closer look. First impression was that it was closed but after going down the steep steps to the entrance we were welcomed in. It was not too busy, It seemed that pizzas were the main item here, though other meals were available. The staff were very pleasant and attentive, and our meals arrived quite quickly. Being just out of Rocamador the prices are probably slightly lower than in the centre of town. There is also an outdoor terrace with good views over the...

"We slept at Relais Amadourien. Having been advised and having a choice by several restaurants, we set ourselves on this one for its family cooking side (according to the words of the employee). With all positive reviews, we positioned ourselves. The setting was very pleasant, beautiful restaurant and charming. The staff was very kind, but we found, in a personal capacity, that the prices were much more expensive than normal for the proposal of the dishes... My companion took a menu and he was surprised by his minimal amount. He was hungry when he left. The entrance, a small cappuccino very Good and the dish, not even a whole piece, two small layers of purée. For my part, I stopped by choice. Having seen the menu and the more expensive price of other dishes, I said, there will be more in quantity. That was my surprise. The cocktail I ordered, I was served a background of vodka in a glass and the kit to make the cocktail (and take care of it). It's the first time I see this... Then, my good entrance that was super good and very beautiful, I thought I hope the dish will be more. Because it was pretty light in quantity. And come at the time of the meal, for a trout at 22.90 that was great my disappointment... Three small pieces (too cooked, some light vegetables and five small slices of potatoes... How to tell you, that I stopped there not prefering to take dessert in fear of paying too much for so little quantity. We went out with a note of almost 100 e (98 and a few exactly with half a piece of wine at 20th to get out, hunger again and pay dear for a small amount in the dishes. Very surprised at this restaurant. After that, we know how to do the part of things, that it was a hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, light all this and too expensive if we had to compare other restaurants... For our part, we leave a 3-star rating. That's the average. We let people experience it. But yes, between the recommendations, the opinions read and what we were offered, it's not worth that price there. ordered a glass of wine never arrived (it had not been counted in the addition. Adequate but disappointed meal. Mixed personal experience and when we were asked how it happened, we responded by a way to stay polite and courteous. Review left on the site of the accommodation: 'After if I can afford it and it's not their fault: we were advised by several restaurants and chose one (Bellevue . It was good and it remained suitable. But for the quality price, too expensive of what offered in flat... A cocktail that I ordered and I had to do it myself (versed a background of vodka and with the kit, must be managed: fortunately I knew the recipe ... . We had finished this meal with a very salty note (98 e for two people, my companion had taken the menu fortunately and I had two dishes, an entrance to 12.90 and a dish to 22.90 a half bottle wine to 20e. For the little on the plates, how to tell you, we were hungry when we left the restaurant... Because very little quantity in the dishes for a very high price of the restaurants we were able to make... ' Final opinion: we can't tell you if we recommend it. Make your own advice."
