Les Orangeries - Menú

Have been there several times and yet not been disappointed. Lovely environment and first class waiters. Excellent food and no messy plates are served! Highly recommendable!

we have returned every year to les orangeries since 2016, eating, service and the staff have never disappointed. this year was no different. many thanks to les orangeries, they will see themselves next year again.

Too much complicated for what it is, and expensive. Not sure the service was the best, for the price they ask they should have a perfect service. Makes you feel not to want to leave a tip. Food was average and a little pretentious.

This was our second visit to this excellent restaurant (the first being 2 years ago) and, again, we weren't disappointed. It isn't cheap but the food is out of this world and beautifully presented! The restaurant takes great pride in providing organic, local sourced food...and wine.

We visited for a birthday lunch, a long awaited visit and Les Orangeries certainly didn't disappoint. The lunch was sensational, cooked to perfection and just the right amount, the service attentive without being intrusive and the dessert was a work of art! To top...it all off, we mentioned it was my birthday and immediately 2 glasses of complimentary fizz appeared nothing was too much trouble. Very highly recommended for a special occasion!

This restaurant is set in a courtyard, the tables are beautifully laid and the ambience quiet and relaxing. The staff are very polite and spoke some English which was helpful as our French was limited the service was very efficient. The menu has 3 options...to choose from for each course. As a family group we sampled all options. Unfortunately whilst the presentation was good the food was bland, lacked flavour and was served luke warm which was surprising and disappointing, especially as many reviews said different. This is not a cheap restaurant.

we had a nice stay in this hotel restaurant. friendly helpful staff, clean and tidy, good service all around. very interesting building from the 18th century, cool and quiet, we had a large room with views of the garden. not be scared by the google earth image of. this place where the huge lkw passes. yes, it is on a main road, but it is quiet in the night, and once in the inner one you hear nothing! the rooms and the garden are quiet and peaceful. beautiful long pool, gardens, lounge chairs, tables etc. excellent breakfast. the restaurant is very good. but we were disappointed by the disappointment that was a bit overcooked, but more important was quite sweet and hard and not too tasteful....

We’ve eaten in this restaurant four times since first discovering it in May 2017. We moved to sillars( less than 5 mins away) in October. Today we experience the new chef. The food was amazing. Service by Remy excellent. For the winter months they have...opened a smaller restaurant which was full and had so much atmosphere. I was so looking forward to lunch today and I must say it didn’t disappoint. I’ve rebooked a table for four in Feb to take my husband here for his birthday. We were asked on leaving if the portions were small. They were but after four courses and rich food it was enough for both of us. This is now my fourth or fifth visit to les Orangeries and as enjoyable as ever. Here in south-eastern Vienne the daytime mercury is still pushing above 30c on a clear day and we were glad to be shaded under parasols as we sat outside...on the pleasant rear terrace. Order of the day for me was a cool and refreshing green gazpacho with cucumber, green pepper, coriander and mint, bites of cream cheese lurking inside a savoury biscuit at the bottom of the bowl. Magret de canard, always a favourite for me here, followed accompanied by carrots and freshly harvested potatoes.
