"excellent place to stop to recover or simply take a tea/café break when you plan to take a tour in the museum. the dishes are elegant, the pleasant service, the small and minimalist room but having a very beautiful mural, and the delicious coffee remarkable! I recommend to take a tour in winter for the room, and in summer for the beautiful terrace."

the frame is beautiful and the very friendly and efficient staff. real small green frame in the heart of lyon. I'm never going to the museum without a break.

sumptuous frame including a gigantic wall decor of dufy. which represents the breast. servers are sometimes of an indifferent formal politeness that entrusts in contempt. A little expensive.

a wonderful setting, on a terrace above the cloister garden, sheltered from the noises of the city, perfect stop after, before or during the visit. choices are always good and the value ratio is unbeatable. Besides, the staff is the kindness itself.

for a break in the afternoon, without having to pay for the museum. you indicate at the entrance that you only come to the tea room and they let you in and tell you the way. It's unpretentious, careful at the end of the afternoon, there's little choice of cakes. We took a tart pie, that's it. but it’s even good to get out of the city’s noise.

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
