"One of my favourites around where we live. Uninspiring exterior on the roundabout in La Brede, and simple rustic interior, but good honest tasty food the way French food was 30 years ago. Everything is made in house rather than being bought in and reheated, which sadly is becoming rarer in France (less than 30% of restaurants), mainly because of unworkable labour laws. The daily €12 menu is a bargain for 3 courses, including wine and all the staff (family) are charming and welcoming. Mainly locals rather than tourists as not an obvious destination, but well worth a visit if you fancy inexpensive, simple but tasty food, and you are in the area."

"Petit restaurant très agréable. La cuisine est délicieuse, les produits sont frais et de saison, c'est simple et efficace. Et puis quand le dessert est excellent et bien je entièrement satisfait. C'était tellement bon que j'ai trouvé les assiettes pas assez copieuses, ou bien j'étais trop affamé ce jour là.Le menu du midi est excellent rapport qualité prix. Le service est rapide et soigné. Bref un sans faute. Bonne continuation à toute l'équipe"

"Restaurant well placed in the center of town. For the menu of the day, Average Cumin Salmon Entrance, Good Invoice Day Plat, Classic Lemon Tarte Dessert, I expected, maybe, better. For children, menu offered: fried steak 2 ice balls at 18€ I knew it when paying... ; First time I see that. With an ice tea, 21€ the lunch for a child: help!!! The service was good and the server available. We were on the terrace before, so I can’t talk about the setting or the atmosphere of the restaurant. In any case, I will unfortunately not return to it because the prices are in offset with the proposed plate"

"Very mixed advice because despite a refined cuisine and with beautiful quantities (except for an entrance of cagouilles in bone to marrow we have been forced to fold on the most expensive menu to have a choice in the dishes offered. Indeed, there was no indication on the website or at the entrance of the restaurant that the list of dishes from the menu at 25 euros was not exhaustive. A single choice each time between flat and dessert entry (one Saturday noon! while we had been seduced by the “bar ceviche” and a dessert displayed at the entrance... Since it's not easy to leave the table once we've been installed, we've been down on the second less attractive menu for us. First disappointment. The second one was at the time of going to the caisse, where our restaurant titles were refused (reported no ticket on Saturday noon while once again nothing indicated it and that the restaurant ticket posters are well displayed on the outside... So very disappointed with the welcome. More expensive aperitives, it was cold in the restaurant and the dish was cold too... We were also surprised at the little world in the restaurant this Saturday noon of April... 4 people in all (of which we 2 Perhaps we will come back to give us a second opinion because the dishes were well worked, seasoned and presented."

"Of no interest apart from having been invited. And again, the 20 euro burger gave me a guilty conscience, in no way consoled by the taste. Hotel kitchen to be used only when necessary. Parking: Hotel parking without access barrier Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch"
