"we have visited this caffe several times for breakfast, lunch and evening drink and it has never failed to impress. the personal is friendly, helpful and attentive, nothing is too much to ask and they are always trying to recommend a good cake! the atmosphere on the day is always cozy and welcoming and the table service creates an intelligent ambiente. eating is excellent. we had everything from poached eggs with smoked salmon to sandwiches to nachos and nibbles. the sandwiches come with a healthy portion salate and cocks that make it a full meal and the breakfast menu is fantastic. the cakes are also to die and made fresh in the house. Evenings on the lightbox can never disappoint. her cocktail menu, with a very seductive 2-4-1 offer at selected times, medium is not to say no to have to offer especially with the huge selection of gin her. the music and entertainment on the evenings is always fantastic - there is nothing else like it in peterborough. overall this is a fantastic place, our favorite in peterborough and would recommend 100%!"

We booked in for a full afternoon tea. It was really busy with a lovely atmosphere, the staff were great. The afternoon tea was fantastic with large portions of gorgeous cake and clotted cream to go with the scones. Will definitely return to The Lightbox.

Went today for a girly catch up. The sandwich was amazing with the side of homemade coleslaw, salad and crisps you can’t go wrong. The shortbread is delicious, had a latte and got served a small piece on the side had to go back and have some more. Lovely staff lovely atmosphere. Definitely our to go to place now. Ver carta

by far the most tasteful and relaxing decor for a cafe bar in and around peterborough. my mother for a roasted sandwich that she explained the best she had ever tasted (the sides of the koleslaw, salat and crawl make it a meal! . Chess are also quite crooked! the cakes look divine (mother polished a large piece of coffee nussbaum . there are all extras that make this place a much needed ability for peterborough (homemade shortbread with their cuppa, the friendly staff, cozy, comfortable decor and that is only the day! a joy in the evening also to visit! well made lightbox!

I took my mother and father here today for a vater day brunch. the staff was very friendly, polite and friendly. my mother and I ordered a cup of tea for two and we got a huge tee that was brilliant, as at most places they get a very small pot. my father had an America he said was beautiful, and we all really enjoyed the cookies that came with the hot drinks. we ordered two sandwiches and a toastia, all came with coleslaw, a small salat and some crawling. we all really enjoyed our eating, and it was remarkable that good quality ingredients were used (thicker ham and speck, good quality cheese), not to mention the portion size is very generous and each sandwich with a lot of filling. you will...
