we have eaten for the first time in the lips at the holy evening. it was especially good 4 courses menu with very selected regional ingredients. very festive environment and very particularly accommodating service staff.

Es war ein wunderschöner Abend mit Live-Musik (Folks Songs) und das Menü war ausgesprochen gut angerichtet, Ente, sehr zart, Fisch mit Limonen-Risotto, perfekt, und die Süppchen in kleinen Weckgläsern: eine Delikatesse. Wir haben den Abend sehr genossen, auch wegen des zurückhaltenden und aufmerksamen Services. It was a great evening with live songs, kind of folk songs. We enjoyed the menu, tender duck and frech fish with Italian risotto, lemon spiced. The menu included also three little soups, hot and in cute little canning jar. Service was positiv retaining and attentive, just right. Thank you, we would like to come back.

I agree with 376ratz. on Einmal reicht. I will not visit the place again! The soup I ordered was really salty. The banana slice on the side of the main dish was coaled under, upside seeming fine (I don´t know if the cook tried to hide the fact that it was burned by turning the burned side. When we commented on this the server looked at us as if there was something seriously wrong with our judgement on food. We both have been cooking since we were kids, and I for one cook a variety of asian and western dishes at home. (shakes my head . On my last trip to the region my German colleagues forgot I was vegetarian which didn 't make for a great night out. This time they remembered and booked a table at the Lippeschlosschen who assured them they did a vegetarian menu and quite right they were as well! I had goats cheese salad as a starter with vegetable ravioli as a main course. Beautifully cooked and presented and what was more impressive was they had prepared a 'special ' appetizer for me as a one off. Great service. Added bonus was they knew how to serve a mean Gin Tonic! Lovely outdoor seating area at the back of the restaurant down the stairs my only slight complaint was the address they give on their website doesn 't work...

After we spent a great evening in the lip-snucking, we gave good friends a common dinner as a special attention in this restaurant. we were not disappointed as expected and were able to convince us of the very pleasant atmosphere, lightness and attentiveness of the owners and service and above all we were delighted to have the excellent food. for my understandings this restaurant is a culinary secret tip: in the lip you can see that the owners are also the operators and really deal with a lot of engagement apparently with success! the consistently high to very high cookery of the cook has also convinced our friends, each floor of our three-part menu was a highlight! the prices are not collec...

If you are looking for true Gastfreundschaft of this region, a visit at the Lippeschlösschen is a must. Dispite the fact that there is a evening cabaret Dinner next door which they told me when I called but welcomed me to come along anyway it is such a beautiful service. I also happen to stumble on the Restaurant Karrousell (an initiative, where 31 Restaurants of the region provide exclusive 4course menues inclusive Wine for a set price Jan 25th March 24th).
