"Back again to this divine little bistro. Today the menu midi offered a crunchy parcel of goats cheese in filo, pork tenderloin in an exquisite light jeu followed by tarte tatin with salted caramel butter sauce.......I love this place. The welcome is always warm, cheerful and prompt. The talented chef is also busy around the tables greeting regulars and newcomers alike. I have eaten here many times and the menu changes every time taking the best local produce and producing a masterpiece. The talented chef has a light touch and the food looks as good as it tastes. Book at least one day in advance to be sure of a table. Snuggled behind the Market Hall at Place Carnot, you could pass by and miss it. Once found though you will be wondering why you did not try it before !"

"super nice and casual restaurant. not a huge choice, especially for my vegan partner, but what we had was really charming. My limousine steak was juicy and full of flavor and accompaniments were just as good. the service was quick and discreet, we felt warm and welcomed. an improvement would be that the vegan curry has more spice and piquant. "Only just of the beaten track which makes parking much easier! This restaurant is expensive in relation to others but is good value considering the quality and service. The menu takes a bit of working out as prices for steak are quoted by weight (multiples of 100gms) and the minimum weight you can order is also stated. To make matters more complicated you can also chose how many weeks the meat has been matured for. Whether you choose Classic or 4 week mature, the quality is all good and extremely well cooked. Even meat cooked very rare is melting. This is a "proper" steak restaurant so make sure you go for the steak. There are fixed price menus but I would keep it simple. Steak, chips with its side of vegetables. Pork and lamb is also available and there is a concession to non-meat eaters in the form of a mushroom omelette. I am sure it is delicious ......Wine is also priced at the top end and excellent. . House wine is also very acceptable.Whenever we have visited the clientele have been all French from the professional classes who are there to see and be seen. Its fascinating ! One little niggle. At the price, the amuse bouche could have been more exciting than a thin slice of fairly mundane salami with a chunk of bread. For faux filet (250 gms) and a large entrecote steak (450 gms) , with a bottle of AC Beaujolais the bill will be around 70 Euros. A starter and pud could increase that by at least 20 Euros. Nevertheless, recommended for the quality, service and ambience. The staff are really charming."

"Great restaurant! The waitress was really nice, and listened! I enjoyed the risotto of st jacque! I strongly recommend this establishment! The preparation of the dish is made in a record time, I was never served as fast! What a talent! decoration, the friendly atmosphere made me spend an unforgettable moment! If I lived in a limoge I'll come every Saturday night! Stay as you are, you all have to become a great restaurant."

"Great restaurant. The very pleasant service we are a family of 5, without booking we have been very welcome. Especially the children who were entitled to pencils and leaves while waiting to be served. Nice little attention. What is from the kitchen the magret the lamb chops and the children's menus were perfect. And the dessert buffet was very good a small mention for the creamy lemon meringue. A delight! Thank you, we will come back with pleasure! See you soon"
