"I was warmly welcomed by the lovely Grace, who engaged me in delightful conversation about good food and global cuisines while serving a piping hot burger that stayed perfectly warm. The patties had that ideal crispy edge while maintaining a juicy flavor, layered with bacon, gooey golden cheese, red onion jam, and garlic aioli. The bun held everything together flawlessly, minimizing any slippage to ensure each bite was a glorious experience, complete with ample sauce for a wonderfully indulgent treat. The Cajun fries were crunchy, hot, and seasoned to perfection, and the black garlic mayo was absolutely a standout—be sure to try some of their sauces too! It was heartwarming to hear owner Steve and Grace discuss their shifts; it’s clear that Steve genuinely cares about his team, which reflects in their passion for creating excellent, indulgent food. I can’t wait to explore more of the menu and share this gem with other food lovers who appreciate a true winner. "We are locals so this was hopefully a new pub for us to have as a local. It won't be noisy atmosphere. I booked 2 weeks beforehand asking for a quiet table, they had 2 weeks to secure one for us instead stuck in the middle with loads of noisy kids etc all around us. I asked to move but the empty tables were reserved? So if I had reserved how comes we could not move over ? We complained as eventually was moved upstairs, I should have had to do that. Food was ok slow service. We won't be returning they obviously don't care"

"The entire visit was a delight; the care taken by every member of staff to attend to every need and their faultless politeness was charming. The food was copious and extremely tasty and the drinks excellent. We were seated at a very comfortable spacious table near the window and left to take as long as we wished. The cost of the meal was much more realistic than we have encountered in many other places."

"100% of our opinion, this is the best restaurant in thanet. steve and cara work tirelessly in the open kitchen to ensure that the food is cooked to perfection. the personal is always friendly. we have recommended friends and family to this restaurant and everyone has loved it. perfect for couples, special nights outside, a Sunday roast and is child-friendly and dog-friendly. they make breakfast too! I had the mönchskorma omg last night! the seabass is stunning and steve makes the best shlit shoes and kaper. the insert is mouthwater and in any case try the broccolini! mixed with parmesan and chili. the restaurant is immaculate and very cozy with a great atmosphere. all products are bought before location and everything is fresh. as they can say, it is our favorite local restaurant and if they have not experienced it, in any case they give it a jump, but make sure they book in advance because it is always busy!"
