Non è il classico castello ma è un casolare, probabilmente era un casolare accanto ad un castello.

Con gli Amici abbiamo fatto una bella passeggiata in zona . Poi per chiudere in bellezza si è pranzato in loco . Menù vario e da scegliere . Le tagliatelle al ragù mi hanno soddisfatto e infatti ho saltato il secondo piatto ma preso caffè con dolcetto.

La visita al castello dei sorci è stata molto interessante, ci sono ambienti ancora indietro nel tempo. Vale veramente una visita guidata dall'attuale proprietaria, una donna bella e simpatica. Alla locanda abbiamo mangiato molto bene, e sempre la proprietaria si occupa dei dessert.. Ver carta

This is the second time we have visited this place with a c 10 year interim period. On the first occasion we sat down as a group of 4; on this most recent visit we were c80!.. Given the number of eaters to be catered for, the Castello staff did a great job and the food was well above my expectations. The setting is atmospheric and the staff are friendly and fun. House wine was good enough and a nice surprise package of vin santo was very welcome.

Sono tornato in questo luogo con più di 30 persone dopo qualche anno abbiamo ritrovato la padrona di casa,la bella e gentile Veronica che ci ha fatto visitare il castello rivelandoci i segreti e le storie che sono accadute in questo storico luogo..poi siamo andati alla locanda dove ci ha servito una cena favolosa..con cibi genuini di grande qualità, dall'antipasto al dolce tutto accompagnato da un buon vino..il tutto a un ottimo prezzo.sicuramente ci torneremo più Spesso.

We had lunch here mid-week in May 2022. It was very quite and we were almost the only guests. It’s a fabulous place in a beautiful location, the main dining room has large windows looking out over the Tuscan countryside, and there is also outdoor seating. We were very impressed with our meals, we had Primi (1st course), Secondi (main course) and Dolche (desserts). We were very impressed, all of the dishes were just about perfect. We were with friends who live locally and quite often use the restaurant. We look forward to visiting again in the future. Ver carta
