our trip was highlighted by great foods and beautiful restaurants. this special place is clearly an authentic Italian charm that speaks according to old family recipes and traditions in the preparation of meals! it is a little waiting, but we had children and they had swimming so that they were hungry! do not let them keep the time constraint from the experience of the best Italian cuisine I have ever tasted!

After days of Gutbűrgerliche Kűche and German Hohe Kűche this restaurant is a relief for our stomach and taste. Of course we didn't take a pizza, since it isn't a pizzeria but a Locanda with a genuine Italian cook! We took advantage of it and...we were served with fresh ingredients, rich taste and not too big portions. The pasta was really al dente and the sugo came not in German quantities; I mean, we could still recognise our pasta. I recommend this restaurant if you want some variety in your diet and if you love the genuine Italian kitchen.

our friends brought us to la locanda degli artisti for the first time and the small authentic Umbria restaurant deserves to be referred to as artistically every dish from the bruschetta over the homemade pasta through the pizza until dessert are prepared with much. much attention and detail. I had pasta all norcina, a freshly made creamy sauce with truffle and salsiccia and it was to die. every good pizza lives and dies with his teig. the pizza special was great and the teig was the right thick and krusty. the tiramisu was juicy and tender at the same time. 5 up!

Our friends took us for the first time to La Locanda degli Artisti and the small authentic Umbrian restaurant really deserves to be called "artistic". Every dish from the bruschetta over the home-made pasta through the pizza to the dessert are prepared with a lot...of attention and detail. I had pasta all Norcina, a freshly made creamy sauce with truffles and salsiccia and it was to die for. Any good pizza lives and dies with its dough. The pizza speciale was great and the dough just the right thickness and crusty. The tiramisu was juicy and delicate at the same time. thumbs up!

Have a reservation and expect to wait when the restaurant is full! This is a family run restaurant and the husband and wife do it all with their son trailing behind. The restaurant is small. Maybe outdoor tables and indoor. The ambiance is...cozy although a little chilly in October with the front door propped open and the heaters not turned on. It took Minutes to get our drinks and Minutes to get our main dish. The food was worth the wait. My tagliatelle was House made and so flavorful. The pizzas here are also true Italian style with a thin, crispy crust. The house red wine and bruschetta appetizers were also delicious. Would gladly recommend and return!

they have a reservation and expect to wait when the restaurant is full! that is a family-run restaurant, and the man and the woman do it all with their son who goes behind. the restaurant is small. maybe 3 tables outside and 12 inside. the ambiente is. kozy, although a little cool in october with the front door opened and the heating not switched on. it took 30 minutes to get our drinks and 90 minutes to get our main dish. the food was worth waiting. my tagliatelle was made home and so tasteful. the pizzas here are also true Italian style with a thin, crispy crust. the house red wine and bruschetta appetizers were also delicious. would like to recommend and return!

I came across this place while I had a quick lunch at a nearby place in the cozy digging alley in bad kissingen, and decided to book a table for the evening with my friend. it ended in the did as a very beautiful surprise, since I would never have expected to find an authentic Italian in this city. besides eating, we also appreciate the warm hospitality of the staff, which gives us the feeling to be guests at a friend place. in this night we had tortelloni with walnut sauce and spaghetti with sausage/cream sauce and truffle, before a mixture of different bruschetta brot with various seasonings. the food was accompanied by a glass chianti that the host is happy for us. everything was super-go...
