Oh my goodness! What a real gem of a find!! Located right in the centre of the village, easily accessible from the grounds of the castle. As we had doggo in tow, and the bonus of having the sun shining, meant we could sit outside...

We have been herentwice now, most recently for lunch and the 'Afternnon Tea ' was splendid. Nice sandwiches, superb scones and a good slice of excellent cake for a reasonable price. They are very dog friendly and the staff were very pleasant

We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside in November! Fantastic Freshly made doorstep sandwich and luscious homemade fruit cake and coffee walnut cake. The lady serving was so friendly with everyone and made the experience even nicer. An absolute must if you visit Dunster, we are only here for the weekend and plan on going back again before we go home!!

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The waitress was very helpful and attentive with a great sense of humour. We were sat in the rear garden which was very peaceful. When the food arrived it was well presented and the scones were to die for. They were the perfect combination of crusty outside and soft and warm in the middle. We highly recommend the ginger scone with honey and clotted cream. If you get a chance to visit Dunster then make sure you make time to go here and check it out Ver carta
