"This was our first visit to the restaurant under new management, and unfortunately, it did not live up to the special experience we had enjoyed in the past. Our party of 5 found our table to be very cramped, forcing two of us to sit sideways even though we are average sized. The selection of Italian bread included breadsticks in bags placed on top, hiding the other two types of bread. We feel that our local pub serves better bread baskets, with warm, artisan bread. The food itself was decent, but the dishes were not all brought out at the same time, with the same server making multiple trips. Additionally, the main course was brought out before the empty starter dishes had been cleared. While the interior of the restaurant is more upscale than your typical Italian eatery, the service definitely needs improvement."

This was one of the best dining experiences I have had. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere was beautiful, and they had Sangiovese di Romagna on the wine list. We will definitely be returning. Thank you, Sergio and team.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The Italian food is superb and the service is top-notch. We dined in for dinner and the price per person was around £50-60. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.

I absolutely adore dining at this restaurant. The quality of the food is consistently outstanding and the portion sizes are generous (the linguine nero is absolutely delicious.) In addition to the main menu, there are always a few specials available. The service is consistently warm, friendly, and professional. The staff also clearly care about the environment and the atmosphere of the restaurant.

We had never tried this restaurant before, but what a delicious surprise! Everything from start to finish was amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was probably the best Italian cuisine we have ever had and we really appreciated it. The menu had excellent choices as well as specials. The wine list was also impressive, with both familiar favorites and special selections for those looking for something unique. We will definitely be back. We can see that l’olivio will become our go-to spot for date nights and a place to bring close friends and family. Absolutely amazing!

I had been searching for an authentic Italian restaurant in Hertfordshire for a while, and my quest led me to l'Olivo. I was pleased with my decision. The food, ambiance, and service were all outstanding. We enjoyed a top-notch meal. The restaurant's decor is tasteful and modern, without being too stylized. The music added to the atmosphere, with gentle piano music played at just the right volume. Standout dishes included saltimbocca with delicious zucchini fritti and spinach sides. While we didn't have wine, my Negroni cocktail was well-made. It was a flawless dining experience, and we will definitely be returning. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
