Sausage suppers disgrace, horrible and dry and cold, if I wasn't for the train appearing, I would have took it back, it was DISGUSTING!

great fish n chips last night. took them down to the river and enjoyed the views whilst eating. we tried two chip shops whilst here. this one was the best!!

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant, and the staff were very kind and friendly. I will definitely be returning in the future and will be recommending it to my friends. Keep up the great work! Ver carta

Went in and asked for fish and chips. Man serving me asked me to repeat myself which I did. He then told me to speak up as he couldn't hear me. I told him I'd had to repeat myself three times. He then got angry and told me to get out of the shop. I was very embarrassed by this treatment and won't be returning.

We stopped for a lunch with my wife, child, and dog. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We enjoyed a chip butty (chips in a bread roll) and sausage and chips with 2 sausages. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely visit again on our next holiday.

A spotless fish and chip shop. Despite the poring rain the welcome was warm. Smart looking and smart customer service. We, along with others, turned up just before they were closing but they ensured all customers got what they wanted. And they kept a smile on their faces. If that was not impressive enough the food was excellent! We will remember that meal for a long time. Ver carta

We dined at this restaurant twice during our weekend stay at a nearby hotel. On the first day, I ordered chips and my wife had a cheeseburger, but she didn't enjoy it because the burger was battered, which was a first for both of us. The next day, we both had fish and chips, and I must say, the fish was exceptional - even better than any I've had in London. We are already looking forward to returning in December for Hogmanay to indulge in more of their delicious fish and chips.

The worst fish supper I have ever had!!! I checked out their latest reviews which were mixed but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt which was a mistake. The batter on the fish was way too thick and retained too much oil , it actually felt like plastic and tasted horrible, I ended up picking the fish out to eat it. The chips were bang average and that is me being generous . It’s a shame that the chip shop that occupies a prime spot in one of our tourist spots is so bad, I think it is just sheer laziness and arrogance as they don’t have any real competition.

I was desperate to try a standard chipper whilst I was in the UK and this business met the brief. Located close to my accommodation. The staff were super helpful as I navigated their menu. I managed to order a fish cake supper. It was exceptionally tasty and I really enjoyed it. My eyes were bigger than my tummy and I belatedly realised I should have just had the fish cakes. I also purchased a coke. I was mesmerised by their choices which are quite different to what I would get back home. Well done to this chipper for getting everything right- including their prices!
