"the northbrook has been my local for several years, and especially with the pandemic a lot has happened. in consideration of this, it is great that the northbrook continues to blossom and thus provide a wonderful service, whether they keep a fast one. one because they have missed their train, spending a afternoon england beat Germany in the euro, or have a first-class meal to satisfy their hunger. the employees are always welcome and perform the reopening during the pandemic perfectly. her biersortiment is excellent, as well as the sortiment an gins. I am also reliably informed that the wein is also good! I cannot recommend this place enough and look forward to seeing that such an important part of the local community has come through the pressure of the last two years and continues to offer a first-class experience."

We were extremely happy with our visit to The Lord Northbrook. We went as a family with three children and a disabled OAP. The food was very tasty and fairly priced. The staff were very welcoming and the gentleman, Sami, was super lovely. Will definitely...go back again. The roast dinner inparticular was beautiful.

Decided to go back to the Lord Northbrook after our lovely Sunday Lunch experience some months ago. Service this did not disappoint even from booking on the phone. Seated as requested near the fire in the main pub and served by the delightful Georgina...who was so on point with her timings for our courses (as we were chatting a lot). Lovely vibe we stayed much longer than we planned. Ver carta

I was a regular years ago and did not have a good experience when it first changed to Fullers. We really fancied a local sunday roast and we were so glad we revisited to give it another chance. The atmosphere was lovely, nice and chilled,...the food was great as was the service. Staff very attentive, asked to be moved away from the door and it wasn't a probably at all. Very relaxing and warm (nice big fire going) afternoon. I will definitely be going back. Also the Mojito was a winner.

I've been here a few times but not for a while. The place remains the same, very welcoming, warm, and spacious too. It's dog friendly, has good outside space, and a nice open space at the back of the venue that allows for group events/gatherings....We celebrated my God Son's christening here a few years back and saw a wedding reception there yesterday afternoon whilst grabbing a couple of cheekies and a burger with friends. The Guinness is ok [nothing to write home about] but the Beef Burger and triple-cooked chips were on point and were decent value for money. The staff was a bit slow but not to the point where it ruins your day. On previous visits, it's usually busy so worth getting there...

"Me and my flatmates went to Naifs to celebrate one of our own's MA degree with a nice meal, and we are so glad that we did. Anne and the team were incredibly personable and friendly, which really stood out to us. As somebody who has worked many years in hospitality, one can tell that there is clearly a very tight-knit team at work here who does what they do out of and with love. We really enjoyed the concluding chat with the kitchen team about the amazingly delicious olive oil they served us with the bread it comes straight from the chef's uncle's olive plantation! The atmosphere was really lovely as well, and a lot of thought clearly went into it: there were lots of candles, soft light, beautiful serving plates. We found the decor very tasteful in general: the restaurant has a cozy, but elevated bistro feel to it which makes it the perfect place for a broad variety of occasions. We had the set menu, which at 27 GBP came at very good value. The menu really demonstrated just how colorful vegan and vegetarian spreads can be: the colors on the table alone were such a delight to behold! Needless to say it also all tasted amazing. We particularly liked the mushrooms in lemony broth, the dhal and the aubergine stew. Every dish had a creative spin on it that made it into something we had never tasted in that way before. The wine that was recommended to us was very nice as well. We finished our meal with a selection of British cheeses, which was very well put together. Naifs focuses on seasonal and regional ingedrients, which is another factor that really convinced us, and which is something that more restaurants should focus on. Whether you're a veggie or not: if you want to dine at an all around truly special place, you need to try Naifs. Keep up the awesome work, guys we will be back very, very soon."
