Lower Street Brasserie

Had a family birthday meal for 14 and I can’t praise it enough. It’s quite hard to find somewhere suitable for this many people but we had a private room and the food and staff were just excellent. We had a great night highly recommend.

We Skipped the hotel fare and came to this restaurant based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. Excellent meal, great attention to detail, super flavours. Great find for the future!! 10 mins in taxi from airport. Good service. Will return.

Today, my family had a get-together at Lower Street Brasserie. None of us had been there before, but it was a convenient meeting spot for everyone. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be meeting here again. Ver carta

I recently had Sunday lunch at the Brasserie and it was fantastic. We enjoyed a delicious vegetarian roast dinner for two, roast beef for one person, and steak for another. The service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. The food was delicious and we will definitely be coming back soon. Thank you!

Very disappointing on many fronts. Possibly due to us being the only guests at this Lunchtime. Waitress was attentive but we felt that everything was done to maximise profit with scant regard for our experience . Portions small given the Cost. Tip for the Management- Take more care of YOUR Customers and be attentive , We are spending good money in your establishment.

We were staying at an hotel at Stansted airport but didn't want to eat at the mediocre hotel restaurant. The Brasserie was picked at random but we were so pleased we chose it. All the food we ate was very high quality and beautifully cooked. Service was mostly good. We would definitely eat here again when when flying from Stansted. The staff at this restaurant went above and beyond in every aspect. They were proactive in contacting us two hours before our arrival to confirm our booking and went out of their way to secure adjoining rooms for us. They even sent us a payment link via email for added convenience. Upon arrival, they efficiently checked us in and made sure our needs were promptly addressed, despite the busy atmosphere.

Prior to staying at an airport hotel, we booked Lower Street to hopefully have a decent meal before the chaos that comes with airport hotels enfolds, what a fabulous place. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a delightful window seat. The food was fabulous, we enjoyed tuna tartar and mushroom Arancini to start followed by the most delicious fillets steak, perfectly cooked and so tender. This restaurant is in a delightful building with lovely outside and inside space. The staff were fabulous, genuinely friendly and welcoming. What a fantastic start to our holiday, it’s worth popping into the Mix next door for a pre/ post tipple, great service there too. Can’t recommend this fabulous restaura...

This boutique restaurant in the heart of Stansted Mountfitchet is a gem waiting to be discovered by the wider world. The food is outstanding; never been disappointed. The attention to detail, the balance, flavours, presentation, textures the list is endless and beyond comprehension. Simon Kerri are fantastic hosts and clearly passionate about serving high end top quality ingredient food. On my recent visit my partner and I could not fault each course. The icing on the cake was the dessert that I specifically went along to try on this particular occasion. OMG!!
