Lydia Cafe - Carta

Probably the best breakfast i've tried in this area so far. The staff are very kind, caring and friendly. Also the club sandwiches from the lunch menu are fenomenal!!!.

I can't give him five because I didn't have a meal here. here for a green tee stopped and a piece of carrot cake. omg. the best carrot cake and a massive disc for a part.

I love this cafe, it is somewhere you can go to on a weekend for a quite breakfast, radio playing in the background with such low volume, you can barely hear it. The food here is delicious. You always want more. The staff are amazingly kind and treat you like family. A few days ago i had my younger niece with me and the staff were so nice to her and gave her sweets and a free slice of cake. Definitely will come back for more. Absolutely Amazing! Ver carta

This restaurant experience was truly terrible. The prices were outrageously high, the service was awful, and the staff lacked basic communication skills with customers. Despite the fact that the restaurant was not busy and there was only one other table seated, my partner and I had to wait 20 minutes to place our order and waited an additional hour for our food to arrive. When it finally did, it was cold and the overall service was simply ridiculous.

The new management in this cafe is amazing, a user has said the cakes are from Costco but they have also been making home made cakes, also Costco doesn't make bad quality products, i don't know what the big deal is here. The waiters are friendly and always greet people with a warm welcome unlike what Sam said. Also the food and ingredient quality has improved dramatically after the new management came in control, i would recommend this cafe and thank you for reading.

this place was so good I went three times in two days: dinner, breakfast then lunch. with deprivation cake. fantastic Turkish cuisine led by a very friendly family. I really enjoyed the cold meze plate (especially the tabbouleh) and I loved the Turkish eggshells I and my friend tried (I had sucuklu menemen.) finally everything is very favorable. Mouldy bread, forgotten orders, and horrible staff. I liked the style of the cafe. It is homely and has a great menu. Food portions were huge and very tasty. Unfortunately I got my moussaka (cold in the middle) after everyone at my table was finished. The pita bread my friend ordered had mould on it. I have never seen mould on my food when eating out and was furious. After pointing it out to the server, who seemed so annoyed by me, that I pointed out mould on my food, she said I tell him No apologetic gestures whatsoever. There is something I love about cafes. Going from the down and out real greasy spoon filled with fat builders tucking into large plates of grease with some food added, or to posh cafes serving the same but to a more refined palette to those of you who are too afraid or disgusted to go into a workers café. New Management. I discovered this cafe 3 years ago when a lovely brunette girl by the name Jerry and her mother Sonya had taken over management. For 3 years the cafe has worked like clockwork with amazingly cheap comfort food. The family have run this cafe with love tha reflected on the way they treated their customers. I have witnessed members of staff hugging other customers and I myself have neen given several freebies. The chef (mother) even baked her own spinach cake and allowed me to try it for free. Unfortunately, this family have left and have been replaced by a new group of people who should not be allowed to run a cafe. Even the cakes are what you would get for £10 in Costco....rea...
