"Came here with my wife after a recommendation from her work colleague. This little restaurant is tucked away in the high street and you could miss it quite easily. But I would encourage everyone to hunt the place out. The menu is mixed with english breakfasts and sandwiches at very good prices alongside a Portuguese menu and a mexican menu. We opted for Portuguese as the owner is from Madera. We shared pasteis de bacalhau which is basically cod crochets. These were very good and ypu could really taste the fish the exterior wasnt your typical over cooked over fried crochet. Lightly cooked with a good crunch. We then shared arroz de pato duck with rice and chorizo as well as lula estufada stuffed squid. Both dishes were nicely cooked the squid was soft and not chewy at all in fact perfectly cooked. The duck was rich and succulent not at all dry. Overall we thought it was a great little find and will be going back soon"

Our Portuguese languiage group are regular visitors here for our annual Christmas get together. Roberto never fails to please with his excellent cooking and friendly service. We all love it!!

This was my first visit to the restaurant and I was blown away by the excellent service and delicious food. I will definitely be returning in the future. The jumbo breakfast with tea was absolutely amazing.

Never been before but came with my friend and her baby .had some tapas including filled tortillas and breaded cod fillets. Then had the lovely Portuguese custard tarts for desert. Great service. Lovely place

We come for our works chritmas meal and I can honestly say what beautiful food. Cooked to perfection piping hot and wonderful flavours. Friendly owner and staff. Thanks for making our Christmas meal special xxx jade

I highly recommend trying Portuguese food to everyone. Come and give it a try, from delicious breakfasts and lunches to a variety of dishes and desserts. Enjoy some tasty Portuguese wine and don't forget to try their famous custard tarts. Finish off your meal with a nice brandy.

Open everyday but Sunday, Roberto is always pleased to see you. All food is made fresh to order and you can find uk cafe food like toasties, burgers, all day breakfasts as well as a selection of portuguese dishes. Bifanas, pregos, bacalhao, polvo, lulas, rissois varios, Francesinhas!! Etc.etc. Good portuguese style coffees As a foodie that enjoys Portuguese flavours this is a great place to eat.

I had a delicious sandwich stacked with steak, sausage, ham, cheese, egg, and the most amazing sauce on toast, served with chips at this restaurant. My wife had to practically roll me home because I was so full, but it was totally worth it. I have been searching for months for a place that makes this sandwich, and it was one of the tastiest things I have ever eaten. The customer service was fantastic, the staff were friendly and chatty. I have already recommended this place to my friends and plan to visit again soon!
