Magic Wok - Carta

We got a takeaway from Magic Wok- wonderful Chinese at a very affordable price. Highly recommend the king prawns in black pepper sauce- scrumptious!

Had a takeaway last year from here and really enjoyed it, I had read the recent reviews and was a tad unsure but we ordered again and was not disappointed, lovely food, friendly service

Delicious fresh food. Would recommend the sweet and sour chicken , salt and pepper chips and chicken and the best prawn toast I have tasted! We will definitely return here when in the area. 10/10 food

Just what the doguey ordered, what a naughty little number. They sent us flying out the blocks with some sensational starters, me recommend the duck, then we met the mains and boy did they deliver. 4 out of 5 stars, or 8 out of 10. Woof

Really great food lovely vegetarian food. Very friendly guy behind the counter went back for another take away it was so good! Often takeaways in tourist towns don't worry about quality but this is great food worth a visit! Wish they were local to me.... Ver carta

A simple takeout of soup starter and a main. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was inedible and was discarded. The main course was house special fried rice which was short on Char Sui, chicken and prawn but heavy on luncheon meat. Strangely this tinned pressed “meat” isn’t shown on their menu… I won’t be returning any time soon!

We have regularly visited this amazing restaurant on many holidays, but then of course everything shut down for 2 years. I was back up in the area to stay with friends and they suggested a take away, as they’ve now become take away only. The food was as fantastic as ever and took us back to our previous visits. I just hope they will open as a restaurant again soon, as now and again it’s nice to eat out. Thanks guys

This place is the best! Walked in greeted by a very smiling gentleman. Kindly said it was going to be a 30 min wait, that was fine by me, didn’t have very far to go. I usually think if it’s go a bit of a wait and is busy it means that it’s good local food. He knows the locals as well, all by name, applies to me by my names, made me feel like I wasn’t a number but a person! Service was great considering how busy they were, front attendant and kitchen people must have been superman! Working hard and it shows! Food was delicious and portion sizes were amazing for a cheap meal! Added in extra prawn crackers for free. Would 100% go back again! The whole experience was incredible and I would recom... Ver carta
