Locale elegante, tavola apparecchiata con eleganza. Servizio veloce e cordiale. Gnocco fritto molto abbondante con ottimi salumi, buone e abbondanti patate al forno, ottimo dessert. Conto euro a persona. Da consigliare

Would have given more but they should warn people that the restaurant is closed on Sunday and no-one around to welcome you. Had to ribg an emergency number. Also water only warm in shower. The accommodation itself was excellent

My favourite place to eat in Modena which considering the high standards in the region says a lot! Rooms are average and in line with the low cost and WIFI is weak... But who cares...the food is crazy good and is and absolute must....try the Vanilla ice cream and in-house balsamic combination!!!!!

This is the 5th time we have eaten at this restaurant and it remains one of our stops when we are in this part of Italy. So easy to get to from the motorway and the quality of food and price warrant a stop. Home made tortellini in brood and mixed grill both excellent. I agree with the other reviewer the waiter can be unpleasant but the other two waitresses are attentive and quick.

Il Ristorante Magnagallo propone i piatti tipici della tradizione emiliana (tra questi anche crescentine e gnocco). Prezzi un pò elevati. Ma si accetterebbe tutto se non fosse che il servizio non ha la stessa gentilezza tradizionale emiliana. Un peccato. Andrebbe certamente migliorata l'attenzione al cliente che mi aspettavo in un ristorante che conosco per qualità. Ma come si sa alla qualità deve corrispondere anche la cortesia. D'estate potete mangiare fuori in giardino. Ad ogni modo se siete in autostrada e volete assaggiare qualcosa di emiliana, qui lo trovate.

In questo bel ristorante, con un grazioso dehor all'aperto, abbiamo pranzato uscendo dall'autostrada a metà del nostro viaggio. Il proprietario ci ha coccolati sin da subito facendoci assaggiare un po' di parmigiano con aceto balsamico trentennale di loro produzione. Abbiamo gustato le caramelle allo speck e un ottimo filetto morbidissimo e cotto a puntino, reso ancora più speciale dall'aceto, e accompagnato con patate arrosto. Eravamo già sazi ma al caffè ci sono stati gentilmente offerti dei buonissimi amaretti. Camerieri molto rapidi e cortesi. Abbiamo speso appena euro a persona, con mezzo litro di lambrusco. Eccezionale! Consigliato assolutamente

We have stopped here twice during our way to Marche. First time was by a mistake because we were looking for a gas station. I was a bit surprised to find a nice restaurant like this in the middle of nowhere. The outside area is great and I recommend to sit there. I read some reviews about a grumpy waiter/owner but we haven't met him, luckily; The food is good and they are serving the food quite fast. The pasta is nice and perfect cooked. I took the rabbit and it was a little bit overcooked but tasted great The insalata mista is big so it might be enough to share one. The prices are ok, around 10€ for a pasta (primi and a little more for the main course. Overall it's a nice place and it feels...

This is an interesting restaurant from an historical perspective. It may once have been good. Sadly, it is now really rather poor. The room is quite handsome but full of flies and the ageing waiters offer little in the way of welcome. The tortellini in brodo were the least interesting I have had in the region. The broth was almost completely tasteless. The roast pork was dry and with little of the promised sauce. The roast potatoes tasted like the had been cooked the day before and reheated. The safest choice would be to opt for the dried meats and parmesan with balsamic that were on offer. They didn't look too bad and there is a limited amount of damage they can do to them, given they don't...
