We tried Mahabharat for the first time yesterday through takeout. We ordered 2 Paneer dishes, rice, naan, and chips. We really loved the food and will definitely be coming back.

We visited last Sunday as a large family gathering spanning 4 generations. We were quickly seated and drinks order taken. The food and service was great and excellent value. Everyone commented that they had a great meal and experience. Ver carta

Went to Mahabharat Saturday after a few beers around Hindley. Not been for years thought we would give it a try. Food was fantastic, service was great, and George the owner remembered us got to be 15 years since we last went. Definitely be going again. Top food lovely place top service.

Awful.. The drinks order was wrong the starter order was wrong I asked for a particular curry and they ignored my request and brought what they wanted. They did replace eventually I would never go back to this so called restaurant. The waitress was in the toilet and left without washing her hands.. disgusting

The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant. As a vegetarian, I am often disappointed by the vegetable curries at restaurants, as they tend to be overcooked, uninspired, and boring. This restaurant was better than most, but a more diverse selection of vegetables (especially cauliflower in a curry) would have earned them a perfect five-star rating. Ver carta

I WENT here with my partner and son yesterday evening and the bill came to £66.40on close inspection it wasn't our bill, there was nobody else in the restaurant I believe this was a scam as the bill came to £46. We asked for a refund but still not received it, I think that its done often as people don't question their bills and they didn't offer an apology, not very happy I think I should get some compensation

Arrived for a birthday treat from my daughter went in to restaurant got met by a lovely member of Staff young lady very chatty and friendly got seated quickly,then we got seen to straight away it was early so one of the first in there ordered our food again very friendly staff took care of us food arrived very quickly and freshly made hot straight from kitchen the Manager or owner came over to see if everything was ok could not fault anything about the place will definitely return came up from Liverpool to my daughters who lives in Wigan thank you for a nice day

I ordered food online for a takeaway treat for my 10-year-old daughter to share with my parents. We were quickly greeted at the restaurant and given a seat to wait for our order. A friendly staff member engaged us in conversation and even gave my daughter some sweets as a gesture of kindness. Before leaving with our tasty food, he surprised us with a fantastic ice cream sundae for my daughter to enjoy at home. The savory and sweet dishes we ordered were delicious and the customer service was excellent. Thank you, I have promised my daughter that we will dine in at the restaurant soon. Ver carta
