"If the weather is nice, you can do no better than sitting at the edge of the wee lake in Maising having a beer or meal at the Maisinger Seehof enjoying the sun or watching the sunset. While the menu is not large or as comprehensive as many other biergartens, the food is consistently excellent and even includes several options with fresh green salads (a rare commodity at Bavarian biergartens). I love the Käsespätzle here (egg noodle dumplings with cheese sauce... think homemade mac and cheese, with lumpier denser pasta), which is creamy and cheesy and comes with a large tasty salad. The smoked lake trout is also great on a summer afternoon. They serve Perger juices, schorles and sodas (a very local organic drink manufacturer), and particularly special are the Apfel-, Birnenschorle (apple or pear juice mixed with mineral water) and Johannesbeerschorle (black currant version), which are on the cloudy and sour end of the spectrum. Extremely refreshing with only a hint of sweetness. Perfect. But while the food is excellent, the real reason to go is to sit at the lake and enjoy the quiet nature, far from any busy roads, you can even take a dip in the lake after (or before?) your meal, or enjoy a hike around the lake.They are only open from April until mid-October, and are closed on Mondays"

the maisinger seehof is beautifully situated on the small maisinger lake. from some places has the gast the view directly on the lake. a visit is always worth it.

Around the lake it is a beautiful winter walk. Lightly hilly and also suitable for strollers. In summer it is also nice, but in the evening hours there are many mosquitoes

Beautiful lake! I'm lucky to work nearby so I visit here a lot. The schnitzel and käsespatzle are my favourites. They also do the best brezel ever, always slightly warm and lovely, just lovely. Ver carta

Beautifully idyllic guesthouse with kiosk. Here you can get drinks and put them to the lake. Toilet is also parat and the staff is nice. Unfortunately, it is sometimes very full and not all places are super.

beautiful amusement garden with self-service directly on the mahnmaler view. evening idyll with Bavarian broth or other well oriented. the beer tastes very good and there are specially filled for the sea farm cracherl beautiful idea!

the location of the seashof is grandios, unfortunately the terrace was hidden in front of the restaurant with an unsightly plastic plan. if, however, one of the tables on the sea, which are very well occupied with beautiful weather, compensates so much. Ver carta

Very nice Bavarian Biergarten! We reached to this restaurant after a long hike from Starnberg. It was quite cold, but the garden is nicely surrounded, so we didn't feel it. I recommend to go there when it's warmer though, because you can sit just next to Maisinger See, have a beer with tasty Weisswurst and enjoy your time.

This kiosk has everything you need after a small hike around the lake. Coffee and cakes, drinks, snacks and hearty dishes. Currently it was self-service and served on a tablet and with disposable dishes. According to the motto: this summer there is only one way. One way. Even the plastic cups are compostable. Very well done
