"My son and I went to this restaurant to treat ourselves after a tiring day of downhill skiing in France. It is not a welcoming atmosphere when you walk in and we almost turned around and left. Locals were sitting at the end of the bar and staring at us.The waitress was good and came over quickly once we had sat down to offer menus. She accepted that we were not good at French and tried hard to make the ordering process easy.We ordered the Entrecote de boef sur ardoise which is a steak that you slice and cook on a hot stone at the table. A novel concept which added a bit of theatre to the meal. The quality of the steak was excellent and it came with a tasty salad and chips. The 200g steak was plenty big enough.They had some rugby showing on the large TV behind the bar which added a little bit of ambience but otherwise it was fairly quiet and we were the entertainment for the regulars sat sipping their beers and Pernod at the bar.Do come here for the food but do not come expecting Swizz bonhomie."

Chaleureux accueil, service rapide, excellente viande séchée, fondue crémeuse, onctueuse et goûteuse. Nous reviendrons.

Excellent cheese fondue. Could have been more spicy, but spises were available at the table. Short travelled excellent vine.

On mange dehors ce soir ? Ok...... on va où ? Ben on essaie la Maison de Ville? Ok......... et bien qu'elle heureuse idée ! Viande excellente, cuisinée comme demandé. Filets de perches cuit comme il faut...... et super desserts ! Nous reviendrons ....... Ver carta

avant de partir en vacance ou de temps en temps nous allons a se restaurant est toujours aussi joviale, acceuillant, serviable et une ambiance de "comme a la maison" planne dans ce restaurant, le tartare est une turie, et l ardoise de viande sur la pirade un delice, a revenir avec immence plaisir.

Nice rösti burger but quality of the bacon (lard de Begnins) not great full of little bones/cartilage and undercooked (waiter doesn’t even ask if you want it rare or well done hence can’t chose never seen that in our life Around chf30 for such a burger is too expensive!!! Venue avec mes enfants manger de la viande sur ardoise et steak tartare au couteau. La viande fondante, service rapide sur une terrasse magnifique vue sur une Eglise et forêt, à l'arrière du restaurant. Des produits d'éleveurs du coin avec que des produits du terroir. Nous connaissons ce restaurant depuis plus d'un an, jamais nous n'avons été déçus. Tout est excellent, les fondues sont faites à base de fromages locaux et originales. La patronne et le patron sont adorables nous avons encore passé un agréable moment, en terrasse qui plus est avec un soleil qui ne gâche rien.C'est vraiment un arrêt obligatoire à saint cergue

We had lunch on a Monday afternoon. We were the only customers besides a few locals at the bar. The atmosphere was a bit cold although the server was nice enough. Bathrooms were clean. The food was fresh. My husband had fondue, I had the fresh tomato and mozzarella salad. The children had a chicken meal off a limited kids menu. The food was fine but we have had food for a better price with a bit more atmosphere.
