"The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was lovely , with lemon trees and olive trees surrounding the tables . The staff were attentive at first , we got out drinks and starters really quickly and then this is where it went down hill . We ordered a main and asked without mushrooms, the food came with mushrooms and then my meal was cold . We waited for a second dish without mushrooms and the chicken was cold in the middle not good . We sent the mains back and as we had waited well over 40 mins for mains . I did not want to wait any longer , so for our first time visiting this restaurant ,it was a real shame . The manager was very good and tried to rectify the situation she best knew how . The fact was the chefs let them down and it had ruined our night as two of us ended up with no mains and we left ."

We went for lunch and were impressed. Service is good menus wide and suitably varied. Food quality is excellent. Wine list is smallish but well chosen bottles from every day to rare and excellent.

the staff was nice and the food was delicious, but the loud remixes of 90s-00s music really didn't fit the ambiente of the restaurant. I thought we were at some points in a club! but unlike that it was nice.

Fabulous service and beautiful location. The steak was amazing and a must have. Nothing too much trouble and Birthday cake a lovely addition. First time here and definitely will not be the last. A definite gem of a restaurant. Thank you for making our first visit so memorable

I came to this restaurant with friends to celebrate my birthday. eating was good, personal attention, atmosphere great and decor impressive. we were also pleasantly surprised at the total cost of the evening. everything in all was a beautiful evening from all. try a cocktail or two!

Malmaison has gone from an upmarket bar and restaurant to what can only be described as a wetherspoons. Menu was very limited. I have had better microwave meals. The sound of the DJ in the main bar did not allow for any type of conversation during the meal. Incredibly disappointed and definately will not be visiting again. A waste of £100 pounds!
